I have a Hauppauge HVR2200 (dual-tuner, hybrid DVB-T/Analog). I have 2 DVB-T capture sources set up and the digital channels only appear once in the TV guide - great.
I had one analog capture source set up (with 2 channels) and these appear in the TV Guide and work ok. But when I add a second Analog capture device (want to be able to record one channel and watch the other), each Analog channel appears twice in the TV Guide. And when I record one channel and try to watch the other, I get told there is no device available.
Any ideas why?
My first tuner is a dvb-t Compro T300 PCI card. I have used it for 2+ years without any problems - runs like a champ.
Last Sat, I thought I try my luck with adding a second tuner - a Asus MyCinema U3000 usb dvb-t tuner. After a quick check in bda.ini found that it is supported.
So, I added my usb tuner card. Installed the driver (but no other software). Added the usb tuner as a second capture source with device id #1 (same id as my first PCI tuner).
Was able to scan for all the FTA channels in Perth, Australia.
Also, I was still able to scan for channels on my first pci tuner.
Started PVRX2.exe. LiveTV ran fine.
However when I tried to record the current program, PVRX2.exe stalled - LiveTV continue running but i could not click/select anything. Had to ctrl-alt-del to bring up task manager and manually kill off PVRX2.exe.
I rebooted, and re-run the above sequence but this time, first removing my old pci tuner. And then adding both tuners, one at a time (USB first, then pci). Again, I could scan channels on both tuners.
BUT still had the same problem as before.
Anyone come across this previously? appreciate your help.
I have been trying to get MAME to run with GameZone 2.6 but when I start up a MAME game it tries by opening the window then shuts down. I can get the game to run if I use the front end GUI MAMEFX32 or if I open MAME from the command line. I have tried various configs but nothing is working. I was thinking it's GBPVR because the game works as stated prior. I included the log files and a screen shot of the current MAME setup in config. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
I've been trying to install the Files plugin on GBPVR 1.2.13 (latest). The install exe runs to completion - skips a few of the DLLs but this is coz they already exists and are current.
However, when I run config.exe, i don't see the Files plugin in the plugin tab. When I start up PXVR2.exe, it does not appear on the Main Menu.
Help? guessing i have missed a simple basic step somewhere...
or is there a limit to the number of plugins that can installed?
its just that my gbpvr box has been running so well for the past 2 years - i've only just now migrating my set up to the latest gbpvr and plugins
I am having problems with audio sync of converted files.
Recorded shows that are converted to avi have all got audio sync problems. The source mpg file is OK, but the converted file has sync problems.
I am using the cyberlink mux for the recording (DVB-T).
I have tried running the source mpg through mediacoder & AUtoGK, but both of these still produce audio sync problems. This leads me to think it may be a muxer problem.
I recently introduced some "ol school" games to my 4 yr. old with the GameZone plugin. (Very nice work, by the way...excellant plug in)
I am using "Kega".
The only problem is Kega opens up in a new window and at that point to play another game you have use the mouse to close the window.
My question is:
a) is there something easy I am missing so that Kega opens within PVRX2?
b) is it possible to set the Hauppauge (I believe it is the pvr 150, 45 button)
to close the current window, bringing you back to "pvrx2" via the irremote.ini - with keyboard command to do Alt+F4
I just want my daughter to be able to do play these games with the remote only (no mouse)..

hip for some reason is racing my cpu through the roof....... it was working fine for over 4 months or so now, but now hip is hogging the cpu and gbpvr can't barely function like that, the only way I can use gbpvr now is shutting off hip and only use the mouse im using hip ver #3.0.28
Still trying to work out why I get ntl.dll crashes when trying to view live satellite TV, unless 'use live preview mode when possible is unchecked.
(I would rather use live preview to save wear on the hard-drive; if recording two SD channels, and trying to watch a HD program, the HDD is actually recording three separate files!)
I know Sub thinks it may be something to do with the 780g mobo/IGP/drivers that myself and DAVA use - we have different sat tuner cards - but I still think it odd that other software like DVBDream does not crash, despite 'timeshift' being turned off. DVBdream is using exactly the same decoders, so the only difference I could think of is the TS reader. But then I saw DVBDream has the buffer settings page (picture attached). Maybe this buffer - which would mimic recording the file to HDD first - could be a solution? Needless to say I want to use GBPVR, not inferior imitations!

I have a Hauppauge PVR-150 internal capture card and the remote that came with it. My problem is that the remote is not working with GBPVR. It does work with the bundled Wintv program. I uninstalled and reinstalled the drivers/wintv and GBPVR twice with no change. Is there any other special setup to do with GBPVR to make it work. I had it working a year or two ago but can't remember how I did it. I think it was some file I downloaded from the forums but not sure.
