When I record an HD channel for later playback all is good. If I try to watch it timeshifted (LivePreview off), I get lots of Allocator errors, no picture/sound and have to terminate PVRX2.
It seems to me that both of the above processes are actually trying to do the same thing, record a stream to disc and play from that disc.

In GB-PVRX2 UI, all channels and EPG are visible, but in web interface it shows only 4 channels (out of 7) and no other channels visible nor Episode Search doesn't find anything in "missing" channels guide. But on Manual Recording EWA is able to record from "missing" channels... In windows UI it is all ok, but problem is in web interface.
Anything wrong in setup/config? It is clean gbpvr setup.
Hi Everyone, Just getting an idea on what movie library plug-in of the two available people like best with PVRX? I have most of my DVD collection ripped to hard drive and would like to use something that is a bit more advanced. Thanks.
I am wanting a way to transcode to AVI or WMV some of my NZ HD recordings, I recorded a movie on TV3 which was 12GB, although I plan to replace my HD with a larger one, I would still like to be able to archive some recordings to a smaller file. transcoding within GB-PVR doesn't work and I haven't found any other software that will help either. Any help would be appreciated.
I am using my old VGN-S360 sony laptop as my HTPC.
I will be using the sony docking station to house my laptop (BTW, the docking station does not contain a power on/off switch).
My problem is that this laptop is kept inside my media shelves and it is not possible to open the laptop and switch it on! Is there a way to switch on the laptop remotely? or any suggestions how I can switch on my laptop WITHOUT opening the screen?
Plugin - Fixed FilterPopup.xml skin, captions for some of the options were not showing.
Config - Added ability to manage the genres that will trigger an IMDB lookup in plugin.
Config/Plugin - Added the ability to change the display name in the main PVRX2 menu. In order for setting to take, you will have to change name, save, then run config again and save the plugin settings again.

I'm trying to use a main PC in the TV room for GBPVR (using the TV out in the video card). I'd like to use the "use secondary monitor" option in GBPVR so that GBPVR pops up on the TV output, but the only way it seems I can do that is by extending the desktop to the TV as a secondary monitor. I'd like to configure PC/GBPVR so that basically the TV "second monitor" is only enabled for GBPVR and isn't used for other PC functions (ie., the desktop doesn't show up on the TV) and 1 person can use the PC for web surfing (without applications spilling into a TV "second monitor") while the other is using GBPVR on the TV.
Is this possible? Thanks in advance for any assistance!
