i de-checked the exit "plugin" in the config utility, but it's still shown.
I don't need it, 'coz i can exit the pvrx2 frontend using the system screen.
I had a setup with a single hauppauge nova-s plus tuner. All was working well so I purchased and installed another one. The first one is working still but the second one will only see vertical polarity channels and not horizontal. I get no signal reading when scanning.
I am running freeview nz and I have the latest version of GBPVR.
The setups are identical except the second one I setup as device 2.
Both cards are plugged in using a splitter from Dick Smith. If one was faulty or not installed correctly then i dont think I would get anything. I am using an old sky dish. And I have tried seeting with and without power on both cards. No difference.
I have been trying to install my new HDPVR and keep running into the same problem when I go to add the capture source. I get a message that says "The drivers for the device you have configured do not seem to be installed." The device works perfectly with Arcsoft TotalMedia and everything seems fine in windows device hardware. Any ideas? Have attached logs.
Hi, I've been trying to use carpeVideo's excellent GraphRecorder plugin, and have had decent success so far. I got a graph together in graphEdit that works to display video, but I can't get audio. All I get is pulsing static noise. Unsurprisingly, pvx2 can't get audio either (it does get the video successfully, however).
I'm using a Leadtek Winfast tv2000 Expert card, and I'm plugging the composite output from my set-top-box right into the back of the card. There is an audio out that goes from the card to the line-in on the soundcard (well, really into the integrated sound on the motherboard).
My simple, preview graph is attached. I haven't bothered attaching the recording graph because I figure the only difference is encoding and muxing the audio once I can make it work when rendering it.
The audio capture filter is Realtek HD Audio In.

Hello, I have a Twinhan 1020a, been using it with DVDdream and SichboPVR with DN and B3V, I wanted to try GBPVR again but, I can't seem to find an easy guide to setup GBPVR and the EPG for both DN and B3V...is there an easy way? XMLTV?
I cant delete one of my capture sources, it keeps coming back when I go back into config.
I've been monkeying around with a second dual digital tuner and i wanted to get the capture source priority working so I used sqlitespy as per this thread:
I just noticed that I was getting 0-byte recordings this week. Checked the hard drive and it's still got some space left (150+GB) so no idea why it didn't record. Live TV seems to be working okay. Did a couple of short recordings to test (5-KTLA Spiderman, 5-KTLA Chaotic and 11-KTTVDT TMNT).
I'm using a SiliconDust HDHomeRun and both tuners are connected to the same antenna via a Channel Vision splitter. Checking the status with the HDHomeRun Manager shows good signal strength and quality (80+%) and 100% symbol quality while recording.
While playing back DVB-S recordings, about every 20-30 min the video and audio glitches - briefly freezes and then skips ahead. Seems like the DVB recordings have these spurious 'bad' spots which cause disruption to the playback. I am using the Cyberlink 1307 mux.
In the past couple of weeks we have had recordings fail despite everything seeming "normal". Last night we had a recurrence and I was able to capture the log files, which are attached. The symptoms are typical of what ahs been happening repeatedly (but not every recording session fails).
At a little after 1700, being paranoid based on past experiences, we checked the pending recordings to be sure "Special Report with Brit Hume" would be recorded at 1800. It showed on the pending list so we went to dinner, and when we came back at 1930 GBPVR was showing the screen saver but would not respond to the remote, mouse, or keyboard, so we rebooted with the power switch. When it came back up, it showed that the recording had failed. We re-scheduled to record the show at 0200 this morning and that succeeded.
Looking at GBPVRRecordingService.exe-1.log (in almost total ignorance of what I was looking for) showed an error at 12:21 yesterday and no entries after that. I don't know what more to do to try to troubleshoot this, but it has become a recurring problem and I would appreciate some help.
