Has anyone got ElSemis Model2 Emulator http://nebula.emulatronia.com/ working as an extra emulator?

I can run it from a DOS prompt no problem. The emu just requires the rom name without the file extension after the executable e.g. emulator.exe topskatr and not emulator.exe topskatr.zip

Does Gamezone send the file extension as per the ROM list setup and if so can it be disabled?

Hello everyone. I'm a new user of GB-PVR and dropped by to say I am very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this product.

Up to now, I have been using Mediaportal (for over a year). I started out with MCE before that. I use a dedicated media center PC; a Shuttle SN21G5 barebone with a PVR-150MCE TV card, MCE remote and LCD TV (1280x720).

I have been reading about GB-PVR yesterday afternoon and within an hour I had it running smoothly on my media center including TV, EPG, new skins and extra plugins. Sure, it did help that I have plenty of media center experience, but I was amazed nonetheless!

My first impressions:

+smooth and easy install
+performance is very good, quick response; much better than MP
+TV recording is smooth and quality good; I had no problems watching a movie over the home network while recording; with MP I have had different experiences!
+no problems running Hidef 720p movies in H264 with onboard video (but that works with MP as well)

-navigating through movies could be a little better, I like the MP solution
-no default button with MCE for aspect ratio/zoom change? I need this for watching recordings

I will try some more plugins (I miss the IMDB lookup function) and may very well replace MP with GB-PVR

The http mkv speed is back to the July speed still with the improved Haali splitter.

Note that I am not planning on supporting RMVB via myiHome. I could but I don't see there is a huge demand in fact I'd prefer Syabas spend time elsewhere but that's not my call. The interesting thing is Syabas now are using myIhome as a transcoding engine for non-supported formats (via mencoder) which might be good in the future. Even though I hate dvr-ms as some of you might now, I did suggest Syabas investigate this.

I've been using gbpvr for some time for my analog cable. Last weekend I decided to see if any QAM channels were availible as my cable company just recently added digital cable. Most everything is working well, overall a fairly painless setup, however now that setup is done and I've started enjoying the fruits of my labors I've discovered an odd issue on these channels.

I use timeshift mode for watching tv. Everything works as expected when I start a show from the guide. When the show ends and the next show begins instead of getting the selected audio track I get the SAP track. Looking through the logs I see that there is a message about the mux switching from the ATI mux, which is what I have selected in config, to the TS mux at the time of the program changeover. If I check the buffer directory there is indead a .ts file that matches the current program and grow as the show plays. The .mpg from the previous show also continues to grow at about the same rate. If I exit live tv at this point the .mpg will eventually be deleted, but the .ts will remain.

For kicks I also tried selecting the ts mux in config and I get the SAP audio stream when I play live tv also. Attached are logs showing the switch from "Arthur" to "Cyberchase".
I have been searching around the forum and have found some issues with SAP tracks, but couldn't come up with anything that resembled my problem, so any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I'm new to this but have done some investigation and was wondering if anyone has looked into the winfast PxDVT1300 T, it seem to be the ideal card for using with Freeview.

Also on another topic I have also been looking into the winfast PVR3000 Deluxe as I would like to push sky digial via component so that I can record sky channels.

Would the combination of the above achieve the following:

Recording of Sky channels
Freeview
Analogue TV

Is there a way of a video with a specified graph or specified decoders? I know theres PreviewGraph for recording sources but I can't find anything for file playback.

I got the latest gb pvr installed.
Has anyone been able to use this card (ati tv wonder ve) with gbpvr ?
I found this card while moving and was wondering if I could build a low end pvr system with it.
I did install drivers for the card (not the ati ones)

Is anybody else using a Hauppauge Win TV PVR USB2 (29022 Rev C533) with Vista Home Premium 32bit? I moved mine over from my old XP machine, and it works, but I'm occasionally getting BSOD error "IRQL_Not_Less_Or_Equal", with the Hauppauge driver hcwusb2.sys as the apparent culprit. I emailed Hauppauge about it, and they just told me to install the latest driver, which I had already done.

I am a GB-PVR v1.2.13 newbie and this is my first post. I am having a couple of problems with a Compro DVB-T300 installed under Windows2000 SP4. I had some initial problems setting the card up as I had removed the ComproDTV3 application and MuxChecker reported NO MULTIPLEXER FILTERS WHERE FOUND ON YOUR MACHINE. I re-installed ComproDTV3 and I still get the "NO MUX" message but I did successfully scan and detect all UK DVB-T channels. GB-PVR also pulls EPG info off all channels and I can set up recording.

1) When I start PVRX2 the first time after booting the machine I cannot watch LiveTV, the screen goes black and I get "No Signal detected" (the channel has a strong strong signal). If I start then stop the ComproDTV3 application then start PVRX2 LiveTV works. I have attached PVRX2StartStop log.

2) When I schedule a recording or create a manual recording a folder is created in the target Recording folder but it is empty (no files therein). I saw previous post for this problem and have removed/redefined/rescanned in config but still no joy. I have attached PVRX2Recording log.

Machine spec ASUS M2NPV-VM, On-board NVIDIA GeForce 6, Athlon64 3800+, 1GB RAM, 500GB Hardrive. ComproTech driver version 1.3.1.24.
