Hi there, I have GBPVR setup on a windows XP pro box and its configured and working great. I have a Vista 64 ultimate machine I want to use as a client. I tried to install the latest version of GBPVR but got lots of errors towards the end of the install relating to .ax files failing to register, I tried putting both the x86 and x64 runtimes on pre install and I;ve also tried re-register filters.bat. Both fail starting with GBPVRparser.ax. Can anybody point me in the right direction please? Any help appreciated. Thanks
When PVRX2 starts, or the system comes out of hibernate, the System menu item is always selected. This seems different than in the past when the last used item was selected. I did a look through config.xml for a setting for this, but didn't find anything. I'd like to be able to explicitly set this, or just have the last used item retained for subsequent startup. Anyone have any insight? Did I miss it on config.xml?
Before (GBPVR,early pvrx2 I think) The skip button would "page down" or up in the video and music sections. This stopped working sometime around an update sometime ago. I'm looking into this now.
I have found out that on the keyboard it is pgdw and dgup that skip a page up or down. cntr+left or cntr+right does nothing. This is how the skip keys are mapped in the remote ini. The skip buttons work fine in actually watching a video.
How do I fix this? Bit of a pain to drag out the keyboard when I want to see a video beginnng with Z. Not much fun going thru the list one by one with the remote.
last night I tried without success to blast some signals using my IR blaster. It's the one built into my AVC 3610 USB dual tuner. The remote seems to work with MCE set as the remote for GBPVR so I gather that XP is recognizing it.
I'm using HIP and it learns the code - so here I think it's recognizing the receiver but not sure - but when I test it I can't blast to the STB.
There are a few problems that it could be but I'd like to solve the simple ones first. I don't know where the IR receiver is for the STB - so if anyone has one can you please let me know where it is about? I tried to isolate it using the remote but it's just too darned powerful so that didn't work.
The second step would be to ask if anyone has the CCF for the Explorer 3000 that they could post.
Finally, it's possible that HIP doesn't recognize the driver but that's my last ditch effort as it takes more time and hacking than I would like.
Hi there, just got GBPVR up and running (the only program I havent had mega trouble picking up the DVB channels with!)
Just wanting to know how I setup my remote to work with it. I had a search on the forums but couldnt really find anything. Can I set it up so when I press the power button on remote it loads GBPVR instead of VMC?
I think I've installed everything correctly and everything seems to happen as it should but at the end of the channel search I'm left with zero channels.
I'm running GB-PVR v1.2.13 on Windows Vista Business 32.

Ok, so i've found the above is happening fairly frequently to me, and i have also searched and found that Ged has made a script based on startgbpvr which *might* get around this - however, im not familiar with autoit and the script he has doesnt seem to agree with my system (obviously i have to change it a bit) - and even if i do change it, im not sure i have it set up right!

is there a fix to this that i havent found in search? To remove the black screen, i have to alt-f4 - i have set up a script using my remote to do this, however it seems to not be very reliable.
any help appreciated - this is pretty much my last hurdle into making my system perfect!
