I have had my popcorn hour for almost 2 weeks now. When I stop watching a recording from GBPVR, about half the time I will just get a black screen. The only way I seem to recover from this state is to physically unplug the popcorn hour then plug it back in. I have seen other postings related to this issue, but it is not clear what the resolution might be. I have had a couple a days where it seemed to work flawlessly, then I had days like yesterday where it seems everytime I stop I get this black screen (or is it blank?).
After getting the WEB-Radio plugin to work I use it a lot, unfortunatly the sound from radio-channels is MUCH louder than sound from live tv or playback of recordings. Is it possible to add a local volume-control to the WEB-Radio plugin?
I installed V 1.2.13 and everything was fine. I updated WindowsXP to Servicce Pack 3 last night and today I have a problem using PVRX2.
When I open PVRX2 and try to accessTV Guide, Recordings or any other menu item except System it crashes and I get an Unhandled exception.

I have HIP set up to change channels on my Dish Network STB. I scheduled a recording on a different channel I was watching directly on my TV. GBPVR was not open at this time except for the sys tray icon for the recording service. I expected GBPVR would have told HIP to change the channel for the upcoming scheduled recording, but it didn't. GBPVR started recording on the channel I was watching without changing the channel to the proper channel.
What am I doing wrong? My guess is I need to add a new program to the HIP list, but is it possible to have HIP allow whatever program GBPVR uses as the recording scheduler to change channels?
I've always been a fan of the SoundBlaster brand, but thought I would ask peoples opinions on Audio cards since there aren't any in the Wiki hardware section. I'm looking for a PCI card that will be able to take some load off the CPU if possible. USB is not an option, because I don't want to interfere with the bandwidth of my USB tuners.
My system is using the on board SoundMax Digital Audio. The newest driver isn't current, and I've worked on an issue where the video and audio do not sync perfectly during playback. I've got it as good as I've ever seen it so far, and when it gets out of sync, if i fast forward, pause or rewind, the video matches the audio then slowly goes back to being unsynchronized.
My most optimal setting at the moment is using the "DirectSound for SoundMax" on the Playback tab. The audio is JUST behind the video, but it stays consistent in that spot. FYI, i'm using fddshow for video, the only one that plays non-choppy.
I'm thinking a more modern card will help it render sound better.
Should PVRX2 in screenaver mode prevent the PC from entering standby? For me sometimes it does and other times it doesn't and I was wondering if there was anything I could do to prevent my HTPC going into standby while PVRX2 is running?

Many times, i see a show thats just finished, and its a series - so next time it is on, id like to record it. Often, however, i wont have epg data yet for the next week (or two weeks, or whatever) - so i cannot find it to set up a season recording - would it be possible to allow you to have a 'record' option on shows that have already finished so you can set up a reoccuring recording? thanks

I didn't upgrade for awhile and just now upgraded to version 1.2.13.
Unfortunately I can't find how to add back my PX-M402U. It used to be a separate "Recording source" (if I remember correctly...) for GO7007SB-based cards.
Now I can't find it (see picture).
I still see go.ini in GBPVR directory, but how to get it work?

I've got a channel that seems to record in spanish about 60% of the time, but never seems to have spanish on it when I watch it live. (maybe it's just luck?) As far as I can tell, it's not a spanish language channel. I've looked at program listings and they never mark programming on it as spanish, but do mark it as SAP some of the time. I think I'm recording the SAP second audio, but I can't be sure. The HVR-1600 has a setting in WinTV for SAP, so it can decode it. I can't find a setting for it in GBPVR. Is there one? How can I tell if it's turned on and recording SAP? I've searched here and in the config and in config.xml. Thanks for any info.
Built a winlirc serial receiver to use with GB-PVR. I purchased a Universal sony Remote (rm-v120). Used the Sony TV code on it as all most all of the buttons are enabled.
Have gotten the buttons and actions programed, however... keys are repeated 2 times.
Are there solutions to delay the time it takes before the keys start repeating?
