Sub do you think gbpvr's xmltv import function should trim leading and trailing whitespace like CR LF TAB before storing the description field in the PROGRAMME table or is this clearly zap2xml's responsibility when generating xmltv.xml?
While I was watching BBC2 on one of my two tuners (Win NOVA-TD) GBPVR was recording the first of the days episodes of Smallville on E4. When the time came for the episode that came after immediately after it GBPVR quit BBC2, 3 minutes before the hour and displayed a black screen for a second and then displayed the main menu. After that when I tried to play the second episode back while it was still recording PVRX2 refused to play it and when I examined the file there were two copies each about 5K long which were unplayable when I stopped the recording during the first commercial break and restarted the recording service, thus I lost about 10 minutes of the start of episode, and had to wait until it was repeated on E4+1.
I have both of these configured in the system and they work fine if there is only one of them in the PC. Put both of them in and set the tuning everything ok. Try recording on one and watching the other and the recording fails creating 0 byte files (it tries twice) In fact it seems to be that the default tuner for recrding fails each time regardless of if I try watching another channel or a second recording, second recording works fine.

Had trouble before when just using the HVR4000, recording dvb/t and try to watch DVB/s channel by mistake it killed the recording. It still does this maybe related?
Install went OK, this is a PC I had it working on, uninstalled it, cleaned registry, tried installing again, same error (when running PVRX2, config was OK)?? Client log attached.
I found a few threads from 2006 about this, but it looks like it's still a no-go? GBPVR is great, but I still have to exit full screen mode to listen to/interact with pandora. :eek:
I think she said, "How'd you do that?" when she saw the slick GUI and how easy it is to look at pictures, listen to music, and play videos. I got the spousal stamp of approval big time, thanks Sub!
For the time being, I'll just be using GBPVR w/o a tuner card, as I queried about in a previous thread. Well, it's working great except for a few minor, and I feel very solvable, glitches. I'm going to be researching and trying to fix them in the coming days.
Glitches I need to work out:
GBPVR freezes up when I try access the EPG. I'm not worried cause I think this is just because I don't have a tuner card yet.
I don't always get sound from video files encoded w/ DD or DTS, and I have one HD animation from the nasa website (voyage to the moon or something like that) that I have yet to get any sound out of. These files work great in window$ media player though. hrug:
I cant' get into the settings menu within PVRx2. Again, I have a hunch it's do to having no tuner card installed.
I'll be perusing this forum and probably trying out codecs to solve these problems. I'll post again with specific questions if I get stumped!
I am having a problem getting the weather VideoPlugin to work. I have added it to the config.xml under <VideoPlugin4>Weather</VideoPlugin4> but everytime i press 4 + F11(Go) the mini guide pops up. What am i missing??
