Any way to make the PVRX2 window always on top? If not, I would like to have it.

OK, so the pc shop near me is having a sale on 500gig SATAII drives and I was planning on buying 2 of them and re-installing my whole pc to run as my htpc.
I will still have my old C: drive laying around to throw into another pc, that way I can pull everything off of it that I need, the question is, if I am doing a fresh install of gbpvr and all of my plugins, is there a way of keeping all of my info, ie. new recordings, scheduled recordings and all the info from the programs I've recordeded? And If I reinstall comskip, it won't write over the old comskip files that are with all my shows will it?

I have an AlphaCool LCD display in the front of my HTPC which accepts RSS feeds. I have successfully set up a "Now Recording" screen and a "Recording Next" screen but I would like to add more detail.

Can I get the ending time of the current recording?
Can I get details on each tuner's current recording?
Can the Pending recordings feed be sorted in reverse order?
Can I get the status of which channel is being watched in LiveTV mode?
Can I get the name of the current recording when being played back?
can I get the position or time remaining of the currently watched recording?

I don't understand whether this is just a case of adding new "filter=" commands on the end of the address and what they would be, or whether EWA even has access to this info.

Any help appreciated.

I was just playing with a new software for my Nokia called "MobiTubia" which is a Symbian front-end for playing Flash (320x240 Sorenson H263) videos.

I go to thinking that a marriage of the two technologies (GBPVR and the EWA providing the back-end, and MobiTubia providing the front end) could really take GBPVR to the next level.

After watching the 2008 EM using live stream with VLC (our office didn't have a cable connection) I wondered if the mobile phone interface might not make a great addition.

As far as I can see, the protocols that govern You Tube are Google open license (connect, get list & thumbnails, start stream) so in theory we would need:

1. The ability to provide You Tube like front-end for GBPVR
   
2. OTF transcoding and serving Flash 7
   
3. MobiTubia ability to treat GBPVR like a You Tube site
   

this is in version 1.2.13. when watching live tv (digital freeview) and the epg program changes, the program freezes slightly and sound is muted.

exiting live tv and going back in fixes it.

(i also have the memory error when mapping/scanning digital channels so not sure if related.

rather not remove and install previous version then upgrade, if i have to...

I am unable to configer GBPVR it does not see my TV card, In the device manager it shows TV Card 7130 and WDM TV Tuner. Please can someone help me the card works with its own software as well as Nero Vision

See it mostly when trying to stream video.

I am using Firefox 3 now and is still happening, but it happened with Firefox 2 as well.

I have 3 tuners in my system a single tuner connexant blackbird and a dual tuner pvr500.

My issue is that when I setup the channels they look all fine in the setup listed out in complete order by number. However when I go to tv guide some channels are missing and plopped at the end. I finally got annoyed with this after a year and thought I would try to fix it on upgrading. So I deleted all the channels and had it update the epg again. so again all the channels look ok but yet again in the tv guide channels are missing and plopped at the end. this time it is different channels and even stranger is it threw 9 at the bottom 6 of which are ones I tend to watch more often so im not as annoyed now but still Im baffled why it is doing this.
I am thinking just deleting them isnt good enough and it may be storing somewhere to throw these to the bottom?

Anyone know if these cards will work in the x16 slots? they list x1 / 8 , so im assuming they will in a x16. Because even a x8 and x1 can run in a x16 slot and x16. Theres been tests of video cards taping over the connectors at spots to test them at the lower speeds. Anyhow Just wanna confirm i have room for this.
Making a new computer, jumping to HD and 64 bit at same time also.

Whats with acting like its the only thing/first thing that can record HDtv from settop box?
Whats stopping me from running my box into a 1800 set on channel 3 or 3 like im planning and using a set top box channel changer and recording it.
249 dollars seems a bit pricey when i can do it for 89...
Unless it only takes OTA or something. But my settop box can output hd over coaxil, and the tv can pick it up as channel 3/4 so i dont see why this card cant.

A wish: to have the ability to select windows (.scr) screensaver as an alternative to the built in GBPVR one. The idea being there are already heaps of different types available!
