I ask as I have had problems with it conflicting with GBPVR (esp. config window) in the past and I have been having a few other GBPVR/PCH problems recently I just can't get past, so I am considering uninstalling it for good.

If you do use GBPVR and also Spampal:

• what version of Spampal?
  
• do you use the Layered Service Proxy?
  
• and do you have any problems with the configs information window not always closing properly?

I'm new to the GBPVR,fresh copy of 1.2.13 installed. After searching and reading this forum I installed Technisat drivers 4.4.3, which should be BDA compliant. However I cannot tune any channel, GBPVR giving the message "GBPVR was unable to start BDA device you have configured. Check the device is configured properly and not already in use.:"

Internal Error 2753 Config.exe

I've upgraded to the latest gbpvr, and now I seem to have lost my channel names. I thought I would reset up the capture devices, and rescan, but this has not solved it. The channel listings appear in the config program buut not in pvrx2. Any help most appreciated as it is quite confusing now looking at the guide.

I have been using GP_PVr under XP for some time now . Recently I switched over to Vista and eveything is working except for the MCE IR Blaster. Remote seems to work ok but no channel changing. When I try and create a new defiinition in the config applications it just goes to "waiting" and then says someting about learning finished. As I recall under XP it asked for button presses to learn the numeric and enter keys. I have spent about two hours looking for a solution on the forum and wiki but no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Last night, suspiciously close to when I got the web interface working, the mux setting in config seems to have started being ignored.

I have TS mux selected, because this is the only thing that creates reliable recordings at the moment, but I am getting mainly mpeg files created, which are usually broken and jerky.

I have 2 tuner cards and I noticed that one recording this morning has a large TS file and a tiny mpeg file. The show recording currently only has a mpeg file.

My first thought is that the quality setting in the web interface has something to do with this but when I look at the recordings with sqlitespy they all seem that same.

I have 2 hauppauge tuners hvr1600, hvr950. THis 1600 came with the hauppauge remote, and a little ir sensor that seems to be really useless. Am i able to use the hauppauge remote with the ir sensor that came with MCE

Is all i need to have installes is the ir exe from hauppauge?

So I've been running PVRX2 just fine for the last several months with my new hvr-1600 on the analog side. Everything was just like it was with my 150. I installed my antenna on the roof this weekend and now get good signal for digital, so I switched over to the digital tuner on the card.

The problem I'm having is pulling EPG data for the extended digital channels (and I'm not totally sure I'm pulling the right data for the base channels). I first went to ShedulesDirect and deselected all the analog channels and selected the digital channels, then saved. Then I opened config and hit the edit button on my capture source. I changed to Digital Recording Plugin for Recording Service, and added channels to map the new digital extended channels to (I had 10 analog channels, and left those in there to map the new base digital channels to). Then I hit the "Map digital channels to EPG channels" button, and successfully scanned all the channels in my area. I went one by one and mapped each channel to the corresponding entry in the channels list and hit OK. Back on the Edit Recording Source window, I hit the Empty EPG button and then the Update EPG button. I then loaded PVRX2 and there is no data for any of the extended channels, only the original base channels. Anyone have any ideas?

Now that Technisat released new BDA drivers with full diseqc support (for the Skystar2 - the most buyed satellite card in Europe, at least), it would be nice to have GBPVR with diseqc 1.2 support...

Any chance to get hands on that?

Is it possible to modify GBPVR so that it can include an overspill directory or directories for recordings if the primary directory located at "C:\Temp\" or wherever else gets full or there is less than 4 GB of space remaining?

On Saturday I was recording two programmes, one of which was 3 hours long at the same time and realised I only had 10 GB left on the C: drive and since I came in after the recordings stated I couldn't change the location of the recordings to drive D: or G: where there was half a terabyte free. Also now that I have upgraded my memory to 3GB I want to ensure there is enough space left free for Hibernate to work and reboot the computer.
