GameZone has been recently going under a number of feature enhancements that make it much more than an Emulator and Game frontend.
The addition of XtraEmulators means that menubuttons within GameZone can be customised to run almost any application; I am finding my new VLC integration in my own setup very enjoyable
Well I am off to make my own Web radio menubutton in GameZone hope people enjoy GameZones new feature as much I am.
If you haven't updated to the latest GameZone, you don't know what your missing!
Its been a while but I have finally updated the wiki with some of the features that many of you may not have noticed in GameZone, if you want to make the most of your experience then read the wiki.
I been using the latest version and I notce that after a while ( a movie or two) the menu's seem to get choppy. it does this for all the skins and closing and opening pvrx2 does not seem to fix it. I noticed if I change a skin then the menus are swift again even if going back to the community skin or any other.
Not sure what to think of it. it is the only thing stopping me from that hardware dedicated cable unit PVR feeling.

I think I'm getting this all sorted out. Right now I just have one PVR-150 installed, but I want at least one more tuner. I was thinking of adding another PVR-150 but I was wondering if I could add a PVR-500? So I would have a PVR-150 and a PVR-500 for a total of three tuners. Is this doable?
Hi, as a newby my ignorence has got the better of me, I'm sure there must be a simple fix for my problem, which is... LiveTV will not work on my MVP.
All other features work fine on the MVP and LiveTV functions on the PC.
LiveTV buffer directory has been created and the ts file appears when I attempt to view LiveTV on the MVP. FFMPEG also starts the conversion to a mpg file, meanwhile the MVP is showing a blank screen, then returns to the main menu after about 10 seconds.
BDA multiplexer is set to CyberLink as suggested in other posts.
The PC system is Quad proc Windows XP with a HVR-4000 card using Terrestrial-freeview as source. All freshly installed this week.
I spent hours tonight trying to setup GBPVR on a PC, but just could not get either of two capture cards (a Nova-T PCI and a Nova-T Stick) to find any channels. I reinstalled eveything at least three times! Tried changing most of the config options, but in the end it all worked only once the Auto-skip commercials (needs comskip files) option was unchecked.
On previous installs I have had similar problems, and randomly checked / unchecked options before things 'magically' worked! But at least I now have empirical evidence of what causes the problem...
(Even now, after setting up all the channels on DVB_T, if the auto-skip option is checked, a rescan fails to find any channels).
So please someone add this to the wiki, and save another soul from elevated stress levels! Or maybe it should default to auto-skip being disabled...
I have video working fine in GBPVR 1.2.13, with Hauppauge Nova T 500 digital dual tuning cards.
However, I'm having a problem with sound for high definition TV. For the first channel I play it is okay, but after that if I change channels the sound will start for a few seconds, then the image jerks a bit, then the image goes back to normal and the sound cuts out. This is set up to use the SPDIF output. If I restart the GBPVR recording service, the first channel viewed works as it should and the same problem happens when I change.
When playing old recordings and Saturn (cable TV) channels, sound is working fine, as it's coming from the stereo output. I assume this means the MPEG2 settings are fine.
For the advanced codecs in the config, I am using Cyberlink H.264 decoder and have monogram aac selected for the other options.

I am runnign version 1.2.13, and today I have encountered a new problem. I can Start PVRX2 fine using my keyboard and I can watch Live TV and View the TV Guide, but when I try to start PVRX2 with my Hauppage 45 button remote, PVRX2 starts ok but when I select Live TV nothing happens, and when I select TV Guide I get the Community 3 background and the program locks up. I think I have narrowed the problem down to the restart IR, when this program is closed the keyboard can control PVRX2 and everythign is great but when i restart IR I lose Guide and Live TV.
I have selected in the config the Hauppage Default Remote and pressed the 45-button remote option.
Hi everyone
I have setup telnet using the survival guide and can now see it.
I can run telnet and everything works.
I then click on gbpvr on the popcorn from the telnet html screen.
The screen flashes a few times then a popcorn screen comes up saying remember to back up your hard drive and then goes back to the start up screen.
I have been at this for days now and slowly getting frustrated.
In the survival guide it says ensure your screen dimensions match the display command line. Can any one tell me where both of these are?
The TV is pal and is not hd. I pasted the sample config from the survival guide into config.xml. and have changed the width and height but still no gbpvr on the popcorn.
