After upgrading to V1.2.13, I am getting an error when I try to launch ML2. The text in the box is "Object reference not set to an instance of an object". If I click Continue, the screen behind the error window goes white with a rex X through the screen. Appears to be a place holder. The relevant log entries are:

The deactivate is task manager killing the PVRX2 application. Any assistance would be appreciated. As a test, I removed GBPVR and installed v1.2.13 clean. I added ML2 and did the config. Same error.

Before I start trying to find out what I've done wrong...

Can anyone say if Restart on the System menu in 1.2.13 still works from an MVP using the standard dongle?

I'm running gbpvr on a Mac Mini with XP bootcamp. 1.83 GHz CPU, 2GB RAM, Graphics is Intel 954.
I've recently installed the latest version of gbpvr. All seems well and configuration picks up my old Kworld external dvb-t usb device with the compatible BDA drivers Kworld 3000u USB.
Weather, TV listings, searchwiz plugins all seem to work as expected.

Two main issues have arisen however:
1. Channel mapping crashes in stage 6 i.e. the last part of tuning cycle with message below.

"GB-PVR Configuration has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience".

This happens every time preceeded with a faint hard disk grinding noise. I can quit out of this and continue, but only the channels up to the crash are working once I open pvrx2.

2. Also, I've instaled SkinPlugin3.2_Setup.exe and community.exe to get the skin changing options going. None of the skin option buttons work.

Is there a patch I have not found already out for this?

I've attached the logs of the crash noted in point 1.

their new software release now works with GBPVR. It works really nicely.

Files I'm talking about are:
Me, Myself & Irene.mpg
Mr. & Mrs. Smith.mpg
Pride & Prejudice.mpg
Starsky & Hutch.mpg

The AVI file created using SkipTool ends up in my root folder (D:\Video\ instead of D:\Video\Pride & Prejudice\)

The AVI file ends up as:
Me, Myself .avi
Mr. .avi
Pride .avi
Starsky .avi

That's not a big problem, I can rename them and I move them into a Movies folder anyway.

I do get 0 byte files created in the root folder also, called:
'Me, Myself '
'Mr. '
'Pride '
'Starsky '
(without quotes of course)

I cannot delete the 0 byte files.

I don't know if this is your tool, or one of the tools your script uses. The .DNE files are created in the files folder (D:\Video\Pride & Prejudice\).

I noticed somthing weired. I recorded a program in the .ts format and when I went to play the .ts file in VLC it was not the program I originally recorded but a completely different program on a different channel. So I bought the file into videoredo and looked at the streams and there were 2 streams in the file. The first was the stream on channel 9 then another on channel 5 (the one I originally recorded). This was not a problem as I can either use the angle button on the PCH remote to switch between streams or seperate them via videoredo.

I also noticed that if I record a WABC broadcast I get 4 streams all sub channels of WABC E.G wabc SD, wabc HD, wabc news and some other wabc channel.

My question is why did this happen?

Is there a way to prevent this (to save some hard drive space)?

I am very new to the PVR concept so please excuse my ignorence if these are stupid questions.

I'm trying to sort out hardware acceleration, and my starting point is lastgraph.grf.

How do I get gbpvr to create the lastgraph file, am I missing something obvious? Everything i've read says it should be in the gbpvr directory but it aint there.....

when opening the PVRX2, the window opens, but remains empty.

I reinstalled the new version of GB-PVR (1.2.13);
I also tried to reinstall .NET framework. I installed version 3.5
I also tried to change the skin from blue to comunity
...but the problem remains.

Searching the logs, I found this message into pvrx2.exe-native.log :

I guess the problem came after installing a new release of Logitech Harmony remote control. Is this a compatibilty problem?
