i have many, many reoccurring recordings which i delete on a weekly basis - the best example is the simpsons on the weekend on the box - 12 episodes or so, and i have seen most of them, most of the time. Is it currently possible (or would it be easy enough to implement) a one button delete? or perhaps a way to 'control click' so you can multiply select shows to delete them? i use 'whats new' as the default view in the recordings library, so going into folders isnt a issue for me as a rule...

Also, as a side request, a keep flag + automatic delete of files if disk is too full would be nice.

another q, is it possible to see the correct amount of room left on the server from a client? currently i seem to be seeing the clients hdd space left, not the actual space left on the server.

Hi Martin, sorry to bother you.

I had a lightning-strike killing my router-modem. So I changed it for an old one I had and after a few days with a new one. After the first change I had problems with connecting, when it connected it loaded the latest dongle fine but wouldn't start. It got to displaying the red and green squares, displayed all 8, there it stopped. I'm not sure how I solved it. I think I loaded the default dongle first which worked fine, after that I was able to load the mvpmc-dongle. With the new router I had the same problem, so now it runs on the default dongle. I haven't tried to load the mvpmc dongle yet, waf is a bit low at the moment. My guess is it has to do with changing ip's.
Any ideas? It's not a big deal at the moment. I won't be able to investigate any further as we are going to Paris tomorrow, to visit our daughter.
We will be back monday, so we'll see then.

I've been using zap2xml successfully since zap2it died.
Just tried to update (manually run zap2xml) as I usually do, and only get a 1k xml file, with this in it from IE:

I've tried setting up the MSN_XMLTV_scraper_V.62.exe, and it seems to get the info fine, but gbpvr won't actually update. I've emptied and reloaded the info, updated the epg with the right click on the taskbar icon and nothing works.

any ideas please?

I know this is an issue with many MVP users, if you can't get Cat5 to the TV what do you do.

I have two belkin routers with one in Bridge/AP mode. Worked well except two problems, the microwave and the fact I was limited to WEP, which is very hackable now.

I found the BL-PA100KTA powerline router setup on Amazon for about $40. They are proprietary, but they are rated at "190mpbs". Set up was easy and they work great. No security problem (built in 128 AES) and no microwave problem.

I think they are closing them out, hence the low price.

I have tried various combinations and patience to try and get it to work, all to no avail, everytime i try to burn a dvd i get the error

Fix VTS Sectors Failed

Reason: could not find VIDEO_TS.IFO file

I have tried reinstalling dvd author, various versions of burndvdx2 over the last three releases of gbpvr. All of the required files are there, it just refuses to work.

Has anyone else who has had this problem managed to find the work round, it's baffling me and is bubbling up to niggle me again to get it sorted.

It would complete the media centre experience for the other half.

Any help, suggestions or comments would be really appreciated.

I am really new - but I have gotten dreamdvb and mediaportal to work. I really like the look of GBPVR and would like to try it. I can't get the program to find my card - a technisat skystar 2. The drivers are 4.4.1 -- I think they're bda drivers.

Where'd the PVRx2 Icon go? Does it have an icon in one of the DLLs?

I have no iodea why this doesn't work

I can watch GBPVR in LiveTV and via TV Guide on my PC, but not via the MVP/NMT. Odd things is I can navigate the MVP/NMT menus (oddly they are a bit slow) , but when I say watch LiveTV or watch a show via the guide, nothing happens?? It still seems to record OK from the PC, and I can watch these, but it doesn't want to "fire" up liveTV from my media extenders???

I've installed gbpvr 1.2.13 with a TT S3200 and XP sp2, downloaded http://www.gbpvr.com/mdapi.zip, installed mdapifilter.ax and FFDecsa.dll, runned regsvr32 /s mdapifilter.ax.

I've downloaded and installed on MDPlugins\ vplug-2.2.4.

I can see FTA channels but when i change to encrypted one, i can see the message that the channel is encrypted but no mdapi icon appears in the tray.

What can i do to know what happens?

I've activated debug and attached the logs here.

I just replaced my PVR150 with a dual tuner HVR-2200. I've installed the both DVB-T tuners fine in GBPVR 1.2.13 but can't get the analog to work.

GBPVR sees the analog tuner as a HVR-1300 but Tuning Assistant can't find any channels at all.

Has anyone successfully got the analog to work in the HVR-2200?
