In trying to connect to GB machine using VNC, I get 720x576 which is Ok for TV but not much else.
I was considering using a 2nd monitor setupa at a higher resolution, but as I dont have a 2nd monitor , my graphics card (6800GT) wont recognise a monitor that does not exist.
I could make up a dummy vga cable, to fool the pc into thinking a monitor is connected. THis requires soldering and parts.
I'm on 1.2.13 and can watch DVB-T livetv fine using Cyberlink H.264 and Monogram codecs. However I cannot playback the recorded .ts files at all. pvrx2 logs say:
System.MissingMethodException: Method not found: 'Int32 GBPVR.Backend.Common.x38d54e470ed17baf.x7fb57eda78 74ce3f(System.String)'.
I'm also getting the following error in pvrx2-native log which may or may not be related:-
I have an old GBPVR client system which has v.99.12 which I've tried upgrading to 1.2.13. The installed failed to register several filters (GBPVRwriter.ax, scflt.ax... among them) during the install. Ignoring these errors and continuing on, config came up blank failing somewhere in nativeutilities.dll.
Running re-register filters come up with the same errors. I've since reinstalled 99.12 fine so don't have any logs to post.
Is there something else I need to do when upgrading from 99.12?
since the update from 1.2.9 to 1.2.13, I get an error message after waking up from hibernation. The message says something like "vmr9 not supported video renderer failed" (I will look for the exact message when I'm back home). The Message appears allways twice and pvrx2 is closed.

Dialogbox: "Sorry, this system does not support the required VMR9 video renderer" But it does ... when I restart pvrx2 it works again.
On the main menu of burndvdx2 the toggle buttons don't work correctly with the current version of the wizui dll that is packaged with the plugin. Here is a version that works courtesty of JavaWiz.
Unzip to the plugins\common dir.
I'm working on some other changes for burndvdx2 and when these get finished up, I'll package it up with this version.
I have used Windows Remote desktop to access the PVR for maintenance etc, instead of hooking up a keyboard and mouse. After I upgraded from 1.1.05 to 1.2.13, it appears that remote desktop hangs once I start PVRX2 application.
There seems to be an incompatibility when using together. Is this a known limitation or is there a setting that can be done to have it work?
Live TV and playback is now working better than ever except for 2 small issues. Firstly GB-PVR doesn't seem to have the resume function for recordings that have been partly watched previously. Secondly when I do play back a party watched recording skipping forward or back just causes all sorts of grief and the video is unwatchable. If I play back an unwatched recording everything works great and there are no longer any audio/video sync issues and skip works very well.
Is anybody else encountering this or do I need to clear everything out and try another fresh install?
Anybody figure out which exe to use to change channels for HD-PVR? I tried Haupblast.exe from the GBPVR directory, but nothing. Is something supposed to go on the parameter line?
The supplied Blaster Config works, but I can't get GBPVR to control the channel changing.
I have a Happauge WinTV tuner, and I use the WinTV scheduler with the TitanTV online service. I'll switch to GB-TV and probably ScheduleDirect depending on the answer to this question:
Can I "save" searches for shows that aren't currently on the schedule? For instance, if I wanted to tape every upcoming episode of "Doctor Who" and every Sophia Loren movie ever broadcast, can I set up GB-TV to do it?
Windows MCE has this ability but I don't have MCE.
