I have noticed that in PVRX2 the previously selected menu item is rendered incorrectly, it is kinda squashed horizontally, here is a pic to demonstrate, I joined two separate images through the center of the area in question.
all I did was take one screenshot as soon as I opened the program, then another after I pressed down then up, so I was selecting the same thing as the first time
I have a Nova-S+ card and am trying to scan for all the freesat channels on my Sky mini-dish. In the BDA device config panel it asks for a Region / Transmitter and there are loads to choose from and depending one which one I select I get a different set of channels. Which is the correct one to get all the freesat channels? Dont care about an EPG as I use XMLTV. Any settings greatly received. Do I have to mess with the LNB setup? E.g. DiSEqC?
I am going to be traveling all over the country this summer and am looking for a good DVR, either one for my computer or a stand alone option since i'll be in hotels and not at home-had to move everything to storage. What do you recommend?
I am looking at this gbpvr, but don't know how it works or if it would fit the bill. i HAVE to download Burn Notice and some other shows this summer, as I am going to Iraq in the fall and want all these good shows for my guys to watch while we're over there.
Yesterday I decided (foolishly as it turned out) to upgrade my MVP server as I had sold the CPU out of it to another GB user.
I upgraded the CPU from a Sempron 3000 to an Athlon 3200 at the same time I added another 512mb of RAM that had come out of my test/development PC when I upgraded it a while ago & upgraded the PSU from a 400W to a nearly new 450W that I had in a lower powered PC. When I fired up the server it said it had found errors on the D: drive (my main recording drive) which is a partition on 2x 320Gb SATA drives setup as RAID JOB & repaired the master table (or something like that can't remember the exact wording) & a few files then went into "Correcting errors in Volume Bitmap" & has been doing so for about 16hours now. BTW running XP sp2.
I guess my question is do I just let it keep repairing or is it basically a waste of time, I would really like to recover the 550+Gb of recordings off the drive if I could.
I'm taking some time to clear my brain from real work, and I was looking at my PVR configuration. Specifically, I'm wondering about the sound-mapping.xml file -- Is there any documentation anywhere about how this works?
After some digging, I located this in \Program Files\Devnz\GBPVR\media\sounds - along with the simple click.wav file. At a glance, it seems like it is straightforward enough, just wondering how far the names can go? For example, would there be an extension point for say "pause", etc.

After some succesfull live-tv suddenly this:
After the last log entry only silence.
I chose 'watch' but gbpvr is only recording.
Any idea or do you need all the logs for this one?

I spotted these after doing manual epg updates via the tray icon option.
Anything to worry about? or should I panic?
I couldn't see anything that could have caused the first error??
