Hi Martin. I've been testing this latest release on a couple of my systems. I'm only able to view the ATSC3.0 channels properly. When switching to other channels I get the following message: "Unsupported Video" with a blank screen but there is audio.
I'm watching two in progress recordings. NFL Vikings vs Cowboys and the World series. Sometimes when I switch to the other game and select resume it starts at 0 instead of where it left off. This happened a few times. The last time I decided to capture some logs.
Kodi 19.3 android client Nextpvr v5 running on Linux.
The logs should show that last resume attempt and maybe a couple more earlier in the logs.
I have a fairly large playlist, however the supplied EPG hasn't got all the channels needed. I was running Xteve, and was manually paired channels that lacked the EPG to about 4 other EPG XML files
That in turn was fed to Jellyfin, but have since ditched that setup as it was so buggy, and Jellyfin's interface was anything but user friendly.
NextPVR is by far the most user friendly, and simplest solution that I have come across, and has the least bugs. I have added all the required EPG files to the guide section, but there doesn't seem to be an option to manually tell the different channels what guide to use.
Hello,
I'm looking for some help with setting up an XMLTV EPG and the AUTO MAP function to auto pull guide info.
I previously had Schedules Direct working and it did a great job.
Now, I'd like to try using an XMLTV listing my IPTV provider gave me and use the AUTO MAP function.
I've read thru the Wiki... and searched thru past threads, but nothing has help me.
I've also searched the XMLTV listing and my names in the .m3u channel listing do match those found in the XMLTV data.
Here's the steps I've taken to get it working.
1 Go to NextPVR login
2) Go to Settings
3) Go to Guide
4) Click (+ Add XMLTV Channel Lineup)
5) Paste in URL from IPTV provider
6) Go to (Channels Left side menu)
7) Click EDIT WRENCH on a previosly imported channel
8) Change SOURCE to XMLTV URL from IPTV provider
9) Click SAVE
10 Click ADVANCED TOOLS and AUTO MAP
11 Select EPG SOURCE and choose XMLTV URL
12 Click Map Strategy and select CHANNEL NAMES
13 Click AUTO MAP
14 Click SETTINGS
15 Click UPDATE EPG
Could somebody please tell me where I'm going wrong.
I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction to enabling and accessing VOD on Kodi 19.3 using NPVR 5.2.2.211017 running on a Windows 10 machine.
I've enabled <SendVOD>true</SendVOD> and added <ImportVOD>true</ImportVOD> in the config.xml file. I've reimported the m3u playlist, and all VOD shows up in the web app and the npvr.db3 file.
From what I can tell, they should be showing up in Kodi, but even after clearing the cache in the Live TV and PVR settings, I still can't find VOD.
Sometimes Kodi cannot play the channels, for no apparent reason...
I see in kodi.log the below:

Hey folks, I can't see a way to enable https with the web app. I have a feeling this could only be done using Apache as a front-end but I'd like to avoid that if possible. Am I unfortunately right?
I'm using XMLTV for my EPG source and I'm trying to determine why there is no unique id being generated for the EPG entries. In the end this is causing duplicate recordings of the same episode. Below is a sample of one episode, is there something else NPVR is looking to be in the XML to generate the unique id?
Thanks
Brian

Wondering, if I have 2 different iptv playlists, can i turn one off without deleting it? When I go to do a scheduled recording, I do not know which playlist I am recording from, so if one is shut off, then i know im recording from the other
