I have GB-PVR set to record TV to a remote windows server with \\server\share. The recording and playback works fine, but under the System menu it shows Free and Total space as 0.00GB. GB-PVR is on an XP machine recording to a Windows 2000 server with full access.

Is this normal or is it just me? Thanks

I have version 1.2.9 installed and trying to transcode my recordings into Sony PSP format. Everthing works fine but the audio quality is poor. Any ideas?

Is there any way to set the Hauppauge PVR2 USB2 to record in widescreen format (16x9). Or is this totally controlled by the hardware?

I have two recording PCs. I have successfully got PCH to connect to them individually after reboot the PCH. I have tried to modify script.cgi to unmount /etc/mvpmc then follow with the mount but that was not successful. Is there any way I can't modify the script.cgi so that I can alternate the PCH to connect between the 2 PCs?

I can't quite get my head around what's happening with the popup (see screenshot). In some ways it looks quite cool but I'd prefer the popup to appear in front of the 'Now Playing' panel rather than partially behind it.

The Now Playing panel is defined in the skin.xml...

1080p seems to be ok...I think.

However.....I went into music library and pressed play on an album....unit switches back to PCH like it always does....music starts...then after a few seconds I switch back to GBPVR interface....I am not sure if that is normal or not.....

When it switches back to the GBPVR interface the screen is washed out purple shaded rather than green (I using community skin 3). Not sure if this is normal either.....

I did not set the settings to use the new screen saver option in my startup cgi.

I cleared out all scheduled recording, to clean this up
1- Clear logs
2- start tray icon, recording service, pvrx2
3- Go to guide, scroll to Monday, May 12 8pm, channel 278 DSC
4- Select Dirty Jobs, choose Record
5- Choose all in this weekly timeslot, this channel, select record

At this point, the on screen indicator shows that both the 8 and 9PM episodes of Dirty Jobs are set to record (they are back to back)…

6- escape to menu
7- Go Recording , recurring
8- It now indicates it will record from 6:30pm and 9:30 PM(???) (see 1.jpg in attach)
9- Select and enter, it now says 8-9pm will record (see 2.jpg in attachment)
10- In the guide, it still shows 8-10 recording, the back to back episodes of DJ

I just installed 1.209 and having a few problems. The first is that randomly my directories in My Videos and My Music will dissappear and then randomly appear again. And it is not all the directories, but just some. For example under my videos I have Current Shows, Former Shows and Recordings. Randomly Former shows will be gone even though it shows in config.exe and then later it will be back without any prompting.

The second issue is that when I go into config.exe it keeps needing the msi file and then acts like it is reinstalling something and the blue status bars go back and forth across the screen and it happens pretty much anytime I go into config.exe.

Any ideas on either of these? I tried to go download an older version and they are no longer there.

I really need some help trying to get this fixed. Here is the problem. I'm using gbpvr, not pvrx2. I am running the current version of gbpvr and a recent version of enhanced web admin. I am usig the current version of yapi2xml for my guide.

My yapi2xml doesn't show channels 1 or 21 at all.
Yahoo TV guide doen't show channel 1.

In the program guide I have no shows listed for channels 1, 2 and 21.
Channel 37 shows up after channel 72 (the last channel)
Channel 21 shows up between 2 and 3.

In the config app, under capture source my cable source looks right.
Under the channels tab everything looks right, except I have 2 channel 37s. One is where it should be, the other is after 72.

When I have tried to fix this in the past I have screwed my programing and it lost it's mind. I had to re-program all of my shows. I really don't want to have to do that again.

I'd really appreciate help getting this to work.

I use a USB-UIRT and Channel Changing works using PVRX2 on the PC but not with MVP (or PCH).

I have tried to reinstall USBUIRT drivers, redo the USBUIRT remote keys 0~9 in config etc, it just doesn't work?

I looked at the IR light thingy on the USB-UIRT when I did it on the PC, it "fires'< but when I try usiong the MVP or PCH, it's like the signal doesn't go through. I have a new Vista PC, it worked fine on the old XP. :confused::confused:

Navigating the GBPVR menus works fine.
