OK - it sounds like a dumb question as it obviously runs after the daily EPG update...however, is it run immediately after the import stage or after the recording service has searched for new (season) recordings that need to be added?
Is chapter skipping for H264 files supported on the PCH?
Most of my DVD's are stored as H264 files in the MP4 container format.
I just received my PCH, so to be honest, have been able to view only one file on the PCH, and it did nothing on hitting the next chapter button - did give me the little exclamation in a triangle sign.
I have also asked this on the NMT forum (link), but have often gotten better and faster answers here.

My GBPVR set-up has recently developed a problem connecting with my MVP's.
If I use Martins MVPMC dongle I get stuck at "Starting application" If I power of and on again with the remote the connection might succeed in about 50% of the cases. The Hauppage dongle fails much in the same way with about 1 in 2 tries succeeds (Contacting servers).
I'm fairly sure that this problem occurred with my 1.2.9 installation. Thinking that the problems was related to some quirky problem I reinstalled XP including SP3 and reinstalled every thing, but the problem is still there.
Turning the Windows firewall of makes no difference
In the database what does the number represent in the PLAYBACK_POSITION table field last_position.
Is this the number of seconds played? I guess it is as it seems to be quite close to what I'd expect.
If I watch a program to the end will the playback position be at the end or not stored in the database?
I have managed to install the latest version, albeit with some difficulty. I have set up zap2it epg (again with some difficulty) and that seems to be working ok.. I can browse the guide and select channels. And thats where the problem is. Either it just goes to black screen with no audio, or the whole program locks up and I have to kill the process.
I saw I may need an mpeg 2 codec in a recent post but it is an .ax file and im not sure what to do with it. :o
After a long hard run I've got this device working on Windows 2000. The device seems to be based on BDA drivers, which do not work with VirtualDub - or anything else I've found so far. I've selected the only installed capture driver using GBPVR's built-in feature.
I've also added an XML TV file - though I don't know that it contains any data essential to the tuning process (but I suppose might contain the frequencies or something based on my IP). I'm trying to find out.
And that's as far as I can get. I haven't managed to do a channel scan, although there seems to be a utility for this, though it isn't obvious if my hardware is compatible with one of those listed. In addition, I can't find anything that looks like it might let me choose a channel, though this may be hidden until channels have been saved.
Any help would be much appreciated.

NB: Tevion have an annoying habit of omitting model numbers from their products, but the company only have the one usb model, so I guess that's ok.
I have re-installed XP Pro and GB-PVR from bare metal. I set my display to use Normal Fonts setting but use "Segoe Media Center" TrueType font at 14point as the default for most things. My resolution is set to 800x600x16b for my RCA NTSC TV display.
Things don't look quite right/clear. Can anyone post their Windows display settings?
Hi--New here, and frankly most of what I read is above my head. :confused: I downloaded 1.2.9 yesterday and cannot get a picture in live tv. I ran tuning assistant, I get sound fine but not picture. My tuner is an Angel USB external with amplified rabbit ears.
Any ideas? Not sure if I gave you enough information. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
