HVR-1800 QAM scan problem

Hi,

I'm using latest v 1.2.9 on Vista sp1 and everything is up to date. The analog tuning, recording etc. works great. The problem I'm having is with the hi-def. I'm trying to scan for cable channels that would be clear hi-def but don't get anything. I have both inputs supplied on hvr-1800 from cable and the scan process works it just doesn't find anything. I'm using the hvr-1800mce (qam) option with digital recording plug in in config.

I have attached logs. If I don't get anything I can get an antenna but don't want to if it is not necessary.

Any help or advice would be great. I searched for step by step to make sure I'm doing everything right but don't seem to find anything.

LiveTV preplay delay not working

I have some audio/video sync problems so I have been fiddling a little with the preplay delay and to my findings there is NO difference in setting the delay to 0 or 4000. The time from play start to picture visible is in both instances around 2.5 - 3 seconds...

Is this a bug or am I misunderstanding this feature?

I use Cyberlink PD7 video decoder and Dscaler audio decoder, Cyberlink 1307 mux.

	I can not setup digital OnAir channels to watch live TV with v1.2.9 on Windows XP. I'm using VistaView Saber DA-1N1-I Combo Analog/Digital PCI TV Tuner Card. Any help?

Popup re-rendering

sub, I'm having an issue with the Netflix plugin where whenever I close a popup, it animates down and then re-renders a ghost image. That image stays until you move the mouse or move with the keyboard/remote. I thought it was just my system but someone else is reporting it. I'm letting the base handle the all the rendering on the main plugin screen and I'm calling setPopup(null). I though it might be the rendering in the popup but it also happens with a simple popup message.

Any ideas or is it something I'm doing wrong?

I have a USB Toshiba tuner that I'm trying to get working.
It does have a built-in encoder since it works with MCE 2005.
I tried to configure it as a capture source, and now the software does detect it, but it failed to tune on any channel.

ShowImageGrabber and ShowImageGrabberB updated and renamed to WizImageGrabber.

Renamed from ShowImageGrabber (and ShowImageGrabberB) to WizImageGrabber.
Created single executable that runs as a windows pgm if no parms,and a batch utility with parms
Saves settings to WizImageGrabber.xml
Ability to limit search to specified genres

To run interactively, simply click or run WizImageGrabber without any parameters.

To run in batch mode, supply parameters (try WizImageGrabber -help to get a list of commands)
