The TVGuideVisibleMinutes used to work just fine in the old version of GBPVR 0.99.12, however pvrx2 1.2.9 ignores this setting from config.xml. any workarounds?

Im trying to make a Divxtranscoding profile for my nokia n73, screen res 240 x 320.

Im looking in the config file and getting a little stuck.

The video ipod setting looks similar, but if I want to customize the Divx profile I dont see an option for the screensize.

A little help understanding the different fields would be great.

-f = filter?
-s = size?
etc

I've finally removed divx and gone the way of xvid. Can anyone help me config it properly for transcoding my files. I have it set up for 2 pass, but my real problem is that it converts the files to 16x9 format after, stretching all of my files (input is regular stb not HD)

I'm sure that either the resolution is wrong, or something with my firewall is configured incorrectly, but when I start GBPVR from the Popcorn hour menu, all I get is a black screen. I do see my television switch modes for the signal.

I was a little confused on what I should set for the the firewall settings. Are there more specifics on what I should open up in the firewall of my network? Per instructions saying: "check your firewall, you need to have your firewall open for GBRecordingService.exe for TCP and PVRX2.exe for TCPand UDP".

Anyway, I'm not sure where to start debugging this thing.

I have uploaded a new minor update to mvpmc emulation mode which will support the incremental screen updates for the mvp as well as the PCH.

To enable support for this in the MVP's MAC address specific area add this entry
<MVPSendIncrementalUpdates>true</MVPSendIncrementalUpdates>

You will also need a more recent PVRX2.exe file such as

My testing has found that this doesn't improves thing much but it could help if band width is any issue at all and with reduced network traffic thre might be fewer remote key being lost network issues. This remains to be seen of course.

Because the MVP is slower than then PCH this setting does help pin point slow areas. Scrolling line by line through a library when you are on the list line on the screen is noticeably slower, sub should probably do a full screen refresh at this point. I would be interested in hearing other bottlenecks.

I haven't forgotten you and it kind of nice seeing what the full integration looks like after a month or so away. There is no doubt that this is what you all want. I think I prefer the PCH's video colour more now even in SD though.

As I tend to watch my Moviez with an external player (Zoom Player), I've been struggling how to implement this into MW.

I managed to swap the buttons Play and External Player in MovieInfoPopup.xml, still MW cycles through buttons in the order Play -> External Player. How can I change this ?

Also, I'd like to define a key that plays a movie directly (in the external player) from within the movie list (not the detailed view). How should I go about this ?

Fast Forward and Rewind does not work anymore on my two MVPs when playing back recordings (not transcoded). It seems that it behave this way since I upgraded to 1.2.9.

Any ideas?

How does the .xml file know the 'PreferredH264VideoDecoder' ?
Using this example:

IIs the 'System Default' decoder the first decoder in the 'SupportedH264Decoders' list?

Also, if a program is added, how does the .xml file know the location of the file - does it need a directory address of the program?

Can someone remind me how I can remove the black box with the channel name in the tv guide? I only want the station logo displayed & find the channel name very annoying!
