I think the recording service is getting confused, it restarts on the recording already in progress and then starts up the new one . Exactly when this happens or why is not entirely clear to me.
then a few minutes later (the 2 minute post recording period) the recording service stops both of them...

a great program, I certainly appreciate any and all help. Thanks in advance SUB .
I've been using the PVR150 2.0.48.24227 drivers (without the registry fix) for a long time without timestamp problems, but last week the issue turned up, when a 2:30h recording showed up as only 0:21h. (I recorded in GBPVR 1.1.5, though I'm now running 1.2.9).
thinking a single stage fix would be faster than the 3 steps in retime.bat. The result was a file that seems fine (and has the correct length) when I scan it in MPEG Video Wizard (and I'm now burning it to DVD), but the remuxed file doesn't "work" when I try to view it in GBPVR. The timeline shows the correct 2:30 length, but there is no video (black screen) and only intermittent audio (plus maxed CPU use by GBPVR).
The most important question is why would GBPVR have trouble with this apparently good remuxed file?
Looking for a solution what would work in GBPVR, I then tried the retime.bat method (on the original mis-stamped file), which seemed to run fine except for a warning (?) from bbdmux
Code:
File F:\Video\Record\Frontline\Frontline_20080324_21002330_faulty.mpg is an MPEG-2 Program Stream
pack header field flag value not allowed in program streams
but mplex1 then went on to say
Code:
Scanning video stream for pictures ...
Scanning video stream: 99% - byte offset 1373101984 of 1386971136.99 Found 95028 picture headers.
Video stream information
Stream length : 1386967416
Total time (seconds) : 3170
but 3170s is only about 0:52, and that was the size of file it produced (or about 1/3 the size it should be.)
which didn't work well at all. It started with a series of
Code:
WARNING: OUTPUT FILE FORMAT IS _AVI_. See -of help.
success: format: 0 data: 0x0 - 0x0
Cannot seek backward in linear streams!
Seek failed
then went on to report -ve quantities as it went past the 2^31 point in the file, finally producing a file that MPEG Video Wiz showed as still having the same wrong length, but now also missing the audio...
Does anyone have any explanations for these remuxing problems, and/or better solutions?
Plugin - Fixed bug related to Client mode. Did not sync up with the server db correctly.
Plugin - Fixed bug where RecordingScheduled was not getting refreshed. Side effect was not to show conflict dialog.
Plugin - Added ability to view Inset while performing searches
Plugin - Added Truncated description to program count label if program list reaches MaxProgramsReturned
Plugin - Made Filter list on main screen autowrap, ie there is no first or last entry
Plugin - Added list counter on Alternates (multiple hits) display
Config - Added 'EnableFilterAsList' to config, default true. In SearchWiz plugin, if set to false, the Filter control will display as a label instead of a selection list.
to display images with different aspect ratios, with the overall size being constrained by width.
The width constraint works and the images keep their aspect ratio, but they are always centered vertically - valign doesn't cause an error, but it also doesn't seem to work - what have I missed?
I have been using GB-PVR for a while now without any problems, but just recently I have been trying to view BBC HD through one PC running as a streaming client. I get no video or audio but I have noticed the following in the logs
2008-03-29 02:13:32.078 ERROR DirectShowHelperVMR9::playFile() - Waited ten seconds, and file size is still zero!!!
The file size is not zero and continually grows in size if I leave the client running (its a .ts file). The file plays back ok outside of GB-PVR.
Both PC's are running latest version, the streaming client is using the cyberlink decoder (latest version) and otherwise everything else works ok.
Hi JW,
I have finally got around to finishing GameZone2 and I hit upon an issue when I changed from UIhelper 1.0.15.2 to the latest on the wiki 1.0.15.4.
prior to the chnage everything is working fine.
First of all it seems gbpvr looks in the plugins directory and then looks in common for the UIhelper dll.
I can put UIhelper 1.0.15.2 in the gamezone plugin directory and all is well again but that is not really a long term solution.
The fault seems to be around the buttonlist, when I first enter the plugin if I select a button it operates correctly but the second or subsequent button selection either throw me out of gamezone or do not appear to do anything.
It doesnt matter which button(s) I press its always the same pattern; fine, then throw out.
Here is the pvrx2.exe log showing the button called "back" being pressed:

So I have a new laptop....old one died a very nasty hardrive death.....a macbook 2.4ghz 4gb ram...will gbpvr run on windows xp as a virtual machine? SD only at this point?
I have tried the install once and got a couple of errors, though that maybe me getting used to a new system.
I hope you can offer some help, i have been trying everything to get my setup working - i think i have aready and tried all your posts and Wiki's, not sure what am i missing?.
I have a H4 MVP (via UTP), using the latest versions of GBPVR and Zprocess.
Router is a wrt54gs (running dd-wrt, but test all sorts of other firmware.)
Laptop is a winXP (all updated SP's), 1Gb ram, p4 M 2.4Ghz. tested via 54g wifi and 100mb wired.
I cannot initiate a transcoding via the MVP. It works fine when i test everything via the zproccess2.exe interface and also if i execute the runtranscode.cmd file.
The error after a failed request from the MVP seems very similar in all cases, i have attached some log for you to see. "Transcoder died early.."
Some of the other tests - with the same error:
I have tried both the trans2mvp.exe install and the .reg type install
I have played with the pre-start delay times and pushed to max
I have tried mplayer rc1 and 3,
ffmpeg (stock version and your suggest version),
i have also tried VLC.
excutting "RunTranscode.cmd" on the PC and the transcodeing fires off and runs perfectly - producing a correct output file.
Moved and renamed files to 8.3 standard (file and directory)
I put my machine on standby mode, and something keeps waking it up 5 minutes later. It does it on hibernate too. I can't tell what's doing it. Is there anyway to tell? How do I prevent it?
It still does it when GBPVR is off (just desktop only). I don't see anything weird running in the background.
