I'm lost on this one. In 'TV listings' when using community 3 skin, the font size is very large. The program titles in the listing table does not fit properly within their respective boxes. I tried different fonts and tv guide options in the skin editor as well as switching actively through themes. Can someone tell me how to get it the same size it was when using the plain blue skin in PVRX2. Thanks in advance.
Fixed bug where time filters did not account for military time, all searches resulted in AM hours.
If recording service stopped when attempting to schedule a recording, a message will be displayed.
If conflicts occur when attempting to schedule, a resolution dialog will be presented allowing user to select which show to keep for recording.
Modified main UI buttons in regards to Filter buttons. There is now 1 âFiltersâ button and the filter dialog provides ability to load, add, modify and delete filters
On Filter Dialog, the Delete button needs to be enabled via the config.
On Filter Dialog, added ability to tag a filter as a reminder. Main menu shows âReminderâ button, all reminder filters will be run and results displayed.
Updated config to have 2 tabs. âFiltersâ maintains all filter settings, âPlugin Propertiesâ maintains the run-time plugin settings.
Fixed Go (PF11) to: toggle SMS entry if program list is empty, ELSE retrieve internet show info for the selected program/episode.
So-- I'm setting up a wired MVP with a ethernet to wirelesss 'g' adapter. With the same adapter, I can hook to my laptop and stream from the EWA at LAN rates, full quality from the same location in the house. And to test, I tried a wired link with the same results.
Using either version of the 2 Hauppauge SWs available from their site, I get huge lags, every 1.5 second or so. Using gbpvr and the dongle bundled with the last release, or the 12/04 or the 12/23 dongle.bin from mvpmc releases, I get the same lags, although the mvpmc dongles might be a little less "lossy".
I was going to try and do some ftp transfers in and out of the mvpmc to check transfer rates but I can't even get scp going once I telnet in. Should be fine, ping to the HTPC is 1.3ms. BTW why can't I get in on telnet once the connection to GBPVR is made?
What else can I check/ this seems like it should just work fine. Latest PVRX2, WinXP. I've tried 12-04 and 12-23 builds from mvcpc, and everything from Hauppauge that is available for download from the one site, or is archived as just dongle.bin from the one website. The PC is 1.8MHz, I can stream whatever I want out of it, I can even tunnel in to the HTPC from work via my 10bT unix box and have an OK (smaller res) stream going out from the EWA.
I am running a 2.8GHZ Pentium IV with 1.5GB ram. I have a ATI TV Wonder 550 and Elite (both have hardware MPEG2). Video card is a Nvidia 6200 w/ 256MB Ram.
When I use PVRX2, it seems to take 10-15 secs to load the TV image. When the TV image is up, the quality of the picture is not as good as if I had the coax directly connected to the TV. The faces are a little blurred...I am using Nvidia purevideo for my MPEG2 decoder. Any suggestions on making my picture/performance better?
I noticed when PVRX2 crashes during LiveTV playback of the analog side of the HVR-1600, after I reset the recording service, that I get no Video/Audio on LiveTV/Recording untill the machine is rebooted for that tuner to start working. I'll have to turn on logging to find out about the initial error, but it would also be nice to have a way of detecting PVRX2 shutting down and the stop the recording of LiveTV and reinitializing the tuner.
I am thinking of switching to a hauppage card that can capture local broadcast HD here in u.s. I would like to play the captured mpg back through the mvp, onto non-HD televisions (for now).
Will I have to do any transcoding, or can the MVP handle this situation? Does anyone know if the hauppage HD capable cards can be set to "downcode" to lower resolutions?
I have recently loaded GBpvr. It seems to work great. I am getting two errors howerver. When I try and access Youtube from the menu I get the following error. "Failed to contact Youtube try again later". I can access Youtube from IE so there doesn't seem to be anything from blocking me from it. The second error I'm getting is when I try and pause live TV. I get the following error. "object reference not set to an instance of an object". I'm thinking I missed something on setup with this error. Everything else seems to work great.
