  Guide scrolling issue ?
Posted by: dayvboy - 2021-07-01, 09:08 PM - Forum: NextPVR Support - Replies (6)

When I'm using the web version of the guide in full screen mode and scroll pages up or down, it over scrolls by about 3 rows.   My monitor is 1920 x 1080 scaled 100%.

Photo m3u irregularities
Posted by: techpro2004 - 2021-07-01, 04:44 PM - Forum: NextPVR Support - Replies (2)

I have 2 pcs running npvr (t330 and ml30) I just tried passing the m3u output of t330 to ml30 and the channel numbers are not consistent (ml30 shows channel 2 on t330 as 6762). because of this auto-map does not work. I have attached a screenshot. Is there any way to fix this so that automap works. Thanks.

  Channel Order
Posted by: raymondjpg - 2021-07-01, 04:50 AM - Forum: Windows - Replies (3)

There is a nifty way to change channel order in NextPVR v4 (+ and - buttons).

Is there anything similar in v5 that I have overlooked? I can't see any other way than to edit LCNs.

  Kodi Client Time Shift Computation Errors
Posted by: jmooremcc - 2021-06-30, 06:41 PM - Forum: Kodi / XBMC - No Replies

First, let me say that when time shifting is working properly, it's a dream come true. However, I've noticed that the Kodi client consistently computes an incorrect timeshift amount under certain conditions when a program is 1 hour in length or greater.

For example, if real time is at 40 minutes or 1 hour and 40 minutes and you want to time shift in reverse to get to the nearest 30 minute mark, it will compute a time shift value that takes it back to the beginning of the record buffer for the current TV show. Also when that happens, the screen freezes instead of playing from the new, erroneous time shift location.

As I've indicated, this appears to be a consistent behavior.

OS: Windows 10
V5 version: 5.1.2.219603
V5 server is set for 120 minutes.

Kodi addon version: 8.2.3.1
Kodi OS: LibreELEC version 19.1.0

I will try to get you a set of clean log files as soon as I can.

John

  No EPG data
Posted by: mexjerry - 2021-06-30, 01:11 PM - Forum: Linux - Replies (14)

debian buster updated
Version: 5.1.2.210603

Epg data was working fine yesterday, this mornings update, no epg data, showing no listing.
I use IPTVBoss to trim the list. The channels play fine, just no data.

What are some clues in looking at the xml file, what causes errors or no data?

Sorry ... trawled for hours ..Is there somewhere to set the time format .  Currently in mm/dd/yy.  My server is set to Aus settings.

And while I am posting.. any chance of pointing to a proxy http server.  I am 3 layers down in firewalls.

Cheers
P.S,   Every time I post I seem to get all of the stuff below in the post as well ??

  No settings menu in Web App
Posted by: Gnarly79 - 2021-06-28, 01:34 PM - Forum: Windows - Replies (1)

I have no Settings Menu in the Web App or in the Desktop app. I am not prompted for a username or password.

I've been using NExtPVR4 in Windows 10 for years. Decided to uninstall and try NextPVR 5.  I performed a complete uninstall as shown in several other posts, by deleting all NextPVR folders from "Program Files" and "Program Files X86", and "Users/Public". I ran NPVRSetup.exe as administrator.  The NextPVR service is running.

From Config.xml:
  Version 5.1.2
   BuildDate 210603
   LastNotifiedVersion 5.1.2 (210603)

Update:
I actually just fixed the problem, but I'm still posting this, in case it helps someone else.  I just realized that the "Web APP" was opening in "Internet Explorer".  Changed my system default web browser to Chrome, and everything is good now. It asked for a username and password, "Settings" menu is there, and all of my ATSC tuners are visible.

  Channels in Kalgoorlie WA

Feel free to correct me .. But after struggling to find all the stations in Kal... I had a look around
and found the file.. Only 2 entries.  We have 5 channels..

After a googling effort .. I finally did a search on the inpenetrable ACMA site and found this  https://www.acma.gov.au/sites/default/fi...0Order.pdf

After searching for the word Kalgoorlie, I think I have found the frequencies..  Well they seem to work.

Interestingly most of them are like   198.625.  Rounding off to the nearest 500 also seem to work for the 2 in your supplied file.. is that within acceptable error?

Anyway .. here is what I have below..   am I on the correct path ?

[TERTYPE]
1=Australia
2=Kalgoorlie

[DVB]
0=5
1=1,184625,0,0,7
2=2,198625,0,0,7
3=3,205625,0,0,7
4=4,212625,0,0,7
5=5,226625,0,0,7
