I am very new/not super technologically savvy. I've gotten NextPVR set up with Kodi, however I only get TV listings for 24 hours. I have it hooked up to antenna and am a very casual user. Is this normal? I have updated it and tried emptying it and reupdating, but it stays the same. Are there any free TV EPGs? I've seen a few for $5 a month, but I don't use it enough for that to be worth it.
I recently upgraded to 5.1.2.210603 all seemed good then following day channels would not stream To explain I have a twin DVBT (which behaves as expected) and a quad DVB-S - it is this latter which seems weird
I scan the DVB-T device - channels found - I delete the channels I dont want - I automap to the ATSC epg source - I then open second DVB-T device I copy the set up from the first ALL works as expected I try to do same with one of the DVB-s device - scan for channels - delete ones I dont want (tedious but ai cant find a fast way of doing this) - merge duplicate channels (ditto) - apply schedules direct epg source - At this stage everything's fine - I see the channels and they stream Now I add a second device copying the settings from the first At first thngs seem ok - then channels stop after a minute or so - soon on cannot open any stream
I thought it might be one of the tuners on my quad dvb-s board was dodgy so Ive tried with different combos of device (a fitst then B copied or d first then c copied etc but it always produces same result -
I have looked at teh logs but I am not sure what to look for or what they are telling me
Can anyone suggest a cause - its obviously something in my set up but what ? Can tuner cards break down like this oh also when one looks at the device status after this appears it often shows on device in use with 'null.ts'
Could you please add a confirmation when deleting a channel group ? The trash icon is so close to the channel group name that I sometimes click on it by mistake and then my whole channel group is deleted without any chance of getting it back. A confirmation would be better or move the trash icon farther away from the link to the channel group name. Thanks.
I've looked everywhere and tried everything, to turn off logging, or at least set it to just errors, instead of DEBUG and INFO.
How do I stop logging to nrecord.log or at least tone it down to errors/critical only.
I have modified config.xml and Config-master-don'edit.xml (yeah I know) to change <LogLevel> in <General> section to ERROR and NONE but it doesn't change anything. I still keep seeing INFO and DEBUG messages in nrecord.log. What is the set ov valid values here???
I have modified appsettings.json in the /opt/nextpvr folder, following microsoft standards, changing to below and that changes nothing as well.
I am having trouble connecting remotley using the android app on a windows pc using bluestacks.
I can connect to the same server no problem on my iphone, but not on his app.
It just says failed to connect to nextpvr check the server is running and try again.
Any ideas?
Hi i currently have a hauppauge NovaT Stick usb all works fine, i purchased another usb hauppauge usb stick WINTV-unoHD it appears in device mgr under libusb-win32 devices - different from other nova T stick.
Is this tuner compatible with NPVR ? anyone using this tuner ?
