Hi last night while watching a bit of the Sydney FC vs LA Galaxy I figured it would stay on too late and so while watching it I hit the record button and said record till end of program.
Shortly after I stopped watching the program and expected to see in the guide that it was continuing to record the program. Had a look this morning and it's only recorded from where I stopped. Is this by design or has something funny gone on?
I would have thought that if i hit record and say till end of program, when i stop, It would carry on recording not start again from where I existed.
I was just browsing around and came across the new SAGETV HD Media extender. Now, we all know that Sage also uses the MVP from Hauppauge, so I gather this is another Hauppauge product. There is nothing on their web site, but this forum post (very familiar interface on the web), shows pictures and comparisons.
I found an error in the External Recorder Plugin.
I use the new 1.1.15 with PVRX2 so i must put a copy of the Plugin files in an subfolder of \Plugins
But it will work now !
I use ProgDVB to record, it will work also, and its easy to control with command line options like /startrecord /ch:xx /exit and so on.
I was wondering that at the end of an record ProgDVB will close and open again ! I see this in the LOG of GBPVRRecordingServiceExe.log
I see the Plugin calls "Stoprecording" but without anything, then the Process will de KILLED and it really kills, i dont see an Message from ProgDVB that is to see when there is an record and i close ProgDVB.
Then the Plugin calls again StopRecording now with the Parameters stored in the config (i have delete the option /exit for testing)
I will attach the complete LOG.
I only can write (just a little bit) in vb.net but i see the source is in C# ???
So i don´t can make any changes :-(
not sure if someone has mentioned this before - had to get dvd's working for the first time in gbpvr so we can watch something tomorrow and found that pressing the menu button (while watching a dvd movie) on my remote seems to work but doesnt - below are the details
after pressing the menu button for the first time the movie changes to the size you would expect for the menu to appear but the menu never shows
pressing the menu button for the second time makes the menu show to the right of the screen but the video has disappear and sounds gone
pressing the menu button for the third time results in a black screen
then on subsequent presses the above 2 happen over and over...
Has anyone got a good guide of how to get these running togther in relation to IR and the blaster. I have been running a PVR150 with a blaster to STB. Yesterday I installed a Nova-HD-S2 that I got working, but I seem to cancel/mess up my 150's ir and blaster. In the end I had to remove the Nova card and All Happ drivers and software and re-install the 150 drivers and ir/blaster prog. (I keep a irremote.ini file backed up. Very handy)
In theory, shouldn't the Ir connected to the 150 contollboth cards?
Before you ask, I have to have a working 150/STB while I work out the NOVA quirks and setup with card reader, mdplugins etc and still keep the WAF high!
BTW I have a AMD Athlon 64 X2 3600+ and 1gb ram. Is this sufficient to run DVB S? I didn't have enough time to test as I hade to make sure I had a working setup before going to bed!
I was Impressed with the channels change speed on the Nova in PVRX2, way under 1 sec!
