I'm not sure wtf is going on but just recently it has started to fail recordings, or it creates a 0-size file. It appears only 1 of my 2 tuners is recording (?) I'm not sure what the deal is or what I should do to attempt to fix it without breaking something. Logs attached, but there's not much in them that I can see. Wondering perhaps if I have a corrupted driver or something.

I just installed one of these and have my 50" plasma connected via VGA. I have live tv set to 9200kbs. I've tried PureVideo decoder, ATI decoder, MPV decoder, and Intervideo decoder. I don't see any stuttering but my picture quality is pretty bad. Some ghosting and slight tearing happens on panning shots. Sometimes shadows will be washed out and peoples faces will look like something displayed in 256 colors. I'm not sure what else to try to get better quality. Any suggestions?
Tonight I marked two items for recording in my Guide... both were tonight on the same channel, one from 8-10pm, the other from 10-12. I marked them to record by selecting them in the guide, and choosing Record from the details screen, not Quick Record. The right programs were recorded, but in the Pending Recordings list they show complete different descriptions.
Here's a screenshot from the Guide for the first recording:
And here's the Pending list, showing one in progress and one upcoming. Both have incorrect titles, but do actually show the correct channel.
I'm sure both Working From Home and the Texas Chainsaw Massacre are great movies, but they weren't what I wanted to record, and not what was recorded. The correct channel and program was recorded thankfully, but you can see from the logs that the incorrect title was even used for the mpg filename.
Next, here's the recording log:

And then when 10pm rolled around, here's what the log shows:
what should my optimum video playback settings be? Live TV is a it choppy and static-y.
AMD Athlon 1.33Ghz
DFI AK75-EC motherboard
640MB of RAM
NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 4000 video card
OS is on a pared down 6GB hard drive.
GBPVR/BeyondTV are outputting to a dedicated 300GB Seagate hard drive.
I would like to install GBPVR on my Vista machine. Can you please tell me what files I need and the steps I need to do to install GBPVR. I want to make sure I do it right the first time so I don't have problems.
I'm hoping someone is able to help me before I go crazy.
I have finally managed to get my Nova T-500 card recognised by my machine (an Asus Pundit-R running XP Pro SP2) and GB-PVR recognises it too.
Only thing is I am unable to map the channels. The Config program just crashes when it gets to processing 2 of 7 (?).
I have searched this forum and found some info advising me to update all my drivers to avoid any conflicts, which I have done, but to no avail. It just cannot get past 2 of 7.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as GB-PVR looks so much better than the Hauppauge software that came with the Nova T-500.
After multiple attempts to get GBPVR 1.08 working and several days searching the forums here I'm still having no luck.
My card works fine with the Pinancle software, great reception on all the channels I'd expect to get. I have installed the latest BDA drivers from pinnacle and the card is detected by GBPVR (although the name doesn't match exactly with any of the 3 names I get in device manager).
I've used XMLTV GUI to import Radio Times epg data and I have a channel list in the GBPVR config, yet when I scan for channels, no channels are found. GBPVR is definitely detecting a signal while scanning, as indicated by the strength and quality numbers.
I have purchased service from schedules direct and GBPVR will not automatically update. I have to go into the GBPVR setup and run the update from there. Does anyone have any idea how to correct this problem?
