So far all I've been able to find information about, and try, is to: Change <sendVOD> to "true" in "C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\config.xml" and restart my computer.
Have a couple of new channels I wish to add in via an STB connected to Hauppauge Colossus.
I have changed all the channel numbers to custom numbering, and use xmltv file as source.
How can I add two channels, without changing my working configuration?
ie. The existing channel lineup for the Colossus device, has modified channel numbering, that is different to the default channel numbering in my xmltv source file.
(the xmltv files uses the channel ID's from the epg grabber 'EPG Collector')
NextPVR 5 does not let me export my channel configuration, and seems to obtain it's channel id's from importing them in from the XMLTV source.
So, for me to import the new channels into my configuration, I would have to reconfigure all channels again, and then remap them?.
Can I add two STB channels without doing all the above?
I am guessing I need to edit my xmltv source file with my custom channel assignments?.
I think this is one feature I miss from NextPVR 4. (being able to export and import custom channel lineups)
If I am missing something, would appreciate any tips or shortcuts to achieving the above, without major reconfiguration.

So I was trying to update my channel list.
It was imported via XCode. Obviously the "Update m3u" button didn't work as I've now been informed it won't.
So out of fear of losing my schedules direct channel mappings, I disabled the Xcode device rather than delete it (in case I was forced to go back).
I added a new IPTV Device using the m3u (same provider).
The channel mappings did survive along with a couple custom groups I had made (Seemed everything had worked perfectly).
Then looking at the channel count (green text) on the device list it started to drop. Looking at the list of channels they were disappearing.
Like a countdown... it dropped all the way down to zero. Now the device just looks like a blank IPTV device.
I have a backend V5 nextPVR server running under Windows 10 and a Kodi Leah client with the nextPVR addon running on a Raspberry Pi 4. The V5 backend server's Live TV buffer is set for 120 minutes and the TimeShift mode is set to TimeBased.
Whenever I start streaming a channel, the ability to time shift is only active for the first 35 - 40 minutes. After that time, Time Shifting is disabled. On one occasion, I had time shifted back a good ten minutes but when the 35-40 minutes of active time expired, time shifting became disabled and I was unable to go back to real time. Once I changed the channel, the clock for the availability of time shifting was reset and was again available.
In the for what it's worth department, I get similar behavior when I run the V4 nextPVR server on the same backend computer with the same RPi4 client running Kodi Leah.
I am attaching logs (logs-20210429-1439.zip) from the V5 backend server and the log (kodi (2).zip) from my RPi4 Kodi client for you inspection.
My goal is to get Kodi Leah and V5 backend working better than my current system that utilizes the V4 backend server and Kodi Krypton client. So far, except for time shifting accuracy, the older system has been more reliable than the new one.
Please let me know if you need any additional information.
I assumed that if I changed the 'Recording Group' in Kodi to match the names of my recording directories (Movies or TV), then it would actually change the recording to be in that directory. It doesn't. Is there a way to record into a specific configured directory from Kodi?

I have a batch file that I need to update the epg through it rather than the web app.
I also need to manually import recordings through the batch script but can no longer do this since version 5 of nextpvr.
Is there any workaround to do this still?
I tried the NScriptHelper.exe to update epg but this just fails and I don't know how to use this to import recordings.
I know about vidimport but this just fails.
Any help would be great.

I am generating M3U and a EPG (XML) files. When I attempt to setup an IPTV Device in Devices, it goes through the process, but does not map the channels to the EPG.
If I manually Map in Channels, it will work when I reload the EPG.
Since migrating to a new (faster) machine I am experiencing a bug in both V4.2.5 and V5.1.1 when changing between channels with MPEG-1 and AAC audio. I get the overlay "Missing Audio. You don't have <...> decoder selected." message.
The thing is, I do have working decoders selected. If I tune to either channel from scratch from the TV Guide, they work perfectly. If I change from one channel to the other, I get the overlay and no audio. Seems to be the same bug as discussed in these two threads:
- Tuning directly to a channel from scratch (i.e. no live TV running) - Tuning between channels of the same audio type - Tuning between channels of different audio types on different tuners - Recordings
What doesn't work:
- Tuning between channels of different audio types (seemingly specific to when the same tuner is reused, which is of course the normal way of things)

- Working screenshot is tuning directly to the channel from TV guide when no live TV active. - Missing audio screenshot is tuning from another channel with MPEG-1 audio. Get similar error in opposite direction. (Also this is my 147th thread... )

I have tried all LAV decoders, all Microsoft decoders, and a mix of both and others. Same results whatever I try.
I've recently done a fresh installation with latest versions (Windows 10, NextPVR v5.1.0.201216, Kodi v19.0, NPVR Client 8.2.2) and my "Keyword" type Timer rules are no longer working. Timer rules using the Guide are working fine. When I add a Keyword Timer, it appears in the list, but never finds/schedules any matches.
