I have some old scheduled tasks I set up a while back to wake up my system, and since deleted. Now they'r elike ghosts, still haunting my system (two, actually), andcarrying out their original tasks.
I've checked in the obvious places. Has anyone heard of this? I googled a bit and found nothing. I couldn't even find out where tasks were stored. If I knew that (in a file or the registry), I could probably fish them out.
Would it be possible to get a version of Video Archive that can recognize both formats (or select between them?). The WAF factor will go down a lot once she starts having to weed through duplicates again.
I have 4 items in my Radios folder I created in the Plugins section: FM Radio, NetRadio, Web Radio, and Web Streams. Only the last 2 show up in the UI, even though they're listed in the config app.
Wasn't sure if anyone was interested, but i've been working on a batch file to get recordings from a remote machine, without running anything on the remote..
I'm making 2 batches, one that pulls the recordings from a remote machine. Another that runs on 'source' machine in postprocessing.bat that just sends the file that was just recorded....[for automatic updates]
So far i have the one that pulls them from any other machine where you have net access to the gbpvr.db3 file.
Mostly it just makes a recording-dump.xml file and imports it into gb...
[Remember to edit the database location at top of bat and run from gbpvr\ dir]
getshows.bat:
Almost done with the other postprocessing.bat one...needs more testing..
after this i'm going to try to save/import all pending recording types in recording-dump.xml..
I have a AMD 1.2MHZ CPU with 700 Megs of ram and a Hapauge HVR 1600 tuner. I have connected it with the composit port from my Radeon 9200se video card to my 42in plasma TV. I am getting really poor resolution on the scree from this hookup. I looked at the video card settings and I am not seeing anything that would improve it. I have the resolution of the video display at 800X600 at 16 bit color.
I watch Life TV OK with TimeShift. But if I check the option "Use Life Preview Mode if possible" when I try to open Live TV in GBPVR, I can hear the audio but I Cannot watch the video. I get a black screen.
What can be the problem? I am attaching the log files.
Thanks.
Since updating to 1.0.16, I can't seem to get the Channel OSD to work when watching Live TV unless I move my mouse. I think this was also happening in 1.0.8, can't remember.
CTRL+B on the keyboard doesn't bring up the OSD
Hauppauge Remote Blue Button doesn't bring up OSD
Pressing Guide will bring the Guide OSD and I can scroll through that using my remote. So far none of the PCs I have running GBPVR can get the Channel OSD to work.
I have previusly been using TVListings and have genre colours working just fine. However, as I now am back to the original TV Guide I do not get them any longer. Different colours are defined in the settings tab but still no success. My XMLtv listings gives me often 2 genres per program, but even after deleting one in the db there are no colors differences (I thought 2 genres were conflicting). db is filled with genre information so that should not be the case. I have also scanned the logs but no reference to genres are given. Not sure what is needed to investigate this further? I am using PVRX2 but have the same problem in old gui.
