Alright I'm using a 350 and have the video coming out via the s-video out on my graphics card connected to one of those s-video to composite converters....And the video is working just fine.......
BUT.....I cannot figure out how to get the audio out of the 350 to my tv. At the moment it is hooked up from the SCAT (or whatever that things called) cable directly to r/l composite cables and then to the tv. I have been reading around on the forums and a couple posts say something about sending that to the line in on your sound card and then out of there to your tv, but I'm using an on-board sound card with none of that fancy hubbub and fresh out of pci slots, so thats not an option...
Long question short, how do you get the 350 to send audio out to my tv via the r/l composite cables??
hmmm, for the life of me i can't figure out why this won't import!
Sub, any thoughts?

There's been some posts in the past from people who have had success in getting a FireDTV DVB-C decoder to work with their TelstraClear SmartCard.
To review what I've learned thus far:
* The TelstraClear Digital Cable SmartCard is encrypted with IRDETO II, and can be decoded by a DVB-C compatible decoder that can decrypt IRDETO II.
* While the TelstraClear decoder (ADB 3000) is fixed to only work with the SmartCard, the SmartCard is not fixed to the decoder.
* IRDETO II Cams can be purchased from http://www.freeviewshop.co.nz/ here in NZ.
Here's my question:
Has anyone discovered the Symbol Rate for the TCL DVB-C cable signal?
My Elgato 610 decoder, which is a re-branded FireDTV, has not been able to get a signal yet from TCL. Based on my diggings, it appears that this is because I need to manually set the Symbol Rate...Not that I understand what a Symbol Rate is, but apparently the decoder needs 2 things to tune into a station: 1) the frequency, and 2) the Symbol Rate.
So Im trying to set up my computer to function as a DVR, and Im unsure what exactly I need in a capture card. Ive got digital cable coming in through your standard coaxial wires (from comcast, in case that makes any difference somehow). I imagine this means I cant go with the WinTV-PVR-150, which Ive seen recommended, because thats an analogue tuner, and my signal is digital. Two tuners would be nice, so I can watch one thing and record another, but depending on the expense, I could do without the second tuner.
I know this shouldnt be complicated, but after looking at all the available cards, Ive got myself pretty confused. Anybody care to make a card recommendation?
Hey I know this is a total new questions but is there a way to pause live tv.
I figured out how to configure it on my own by reading the forums. But I couldn't find this and I was sure if I was just missing it our if the features hasn't been added yet?
Hi After upgrading the v1.0.16, I no longer get a picture in livetv. I get sond however. My computer info is as follows, a Intel P4 2.53Ghz processor, 512MB of RAM, Soundmax Intergrated Audio, Nvidia Gefoce MX 440 with 128MB VRAM, Windows XP Home with SP2, IE 7 and media player 11. My PVR card is WinTV PVR2 USB2 What could have gone wrong? I am trying to include the logs but when I click on browse so I can browse to where the logs are, the browse window does not open. Thanks.
When browsing the tv guide using PVRX2, recordings scheduled for the next day don't show up in the timeline until I completely scroll over into the next day. (See attached screenshot.)
The first time I watch a digital channel after I open pvrx2 I always get the message "No signal detected. Please ensure that the antenna cable is connected or that the antenna signal is strong enough." on the screen, and the indicators show around 80% signal strength and quality right now. If I go back to the program guide and start watching the same or another digital channel, I don't get those messages again. They only show up the very first time, each and every time, after I open pvrx2.
BTW, what keys do I press to get that screen on demand? Occasionally one of the signals is weak, it'd be nice to be able to look.
