  Folder pictures for Video
Posted by: ajs1544 - 2007-08-16, 09:01 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (16)

Have tried to search for this but cant seem to find anything....is there a way of showing pictures from folders within the Video tab.??

I have tried installing Video archive but can never seem to get it working as it always hangs with the egg timer whilst looking for files and have searched the plugin help and a few other people seem to have this problem.

I am on the latest version of 1.0.16

  1.0.16 - Recording Screen Images
Posted by: Carlito - 2007-08-16, 08:11 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (15)

The images for the main show folders on the Recordings/Ready screen doesn't seem to show anymore. All I have is an empty space where the picture used to show in 1.0.8.

If you go into the folder for a particular show then the image displays beside the episodes.

  Pause and OSD
Posted by: sixeyes - 2007-08-16, 07:15 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (9)

While watching a recording in GBPVR I press the pause button an OSD appears at the bottom.

Is there a button I can press to remove the OSD so that while paused I can see the part of the screen obscured by the OSD?

  IMDB Info
Posted by: rbelisle - 2007-08-16, 07:15 PM - Forum: SearchWiz & MovieWiz - Replies (3)

Not sure exactly how to configure this, anytime I click on a movie in the search list, all I get is a window that says "Sorry, IMDB info not available". Not sure how to troubleshoot this... I know it has to do with the Genre's in the config.xml file, but the Genre I'm looking at is Movie, Drama.

So should be xml be:

Movie|Drama
Movie, Drama| (others...)

Any help is appreciated...

  PVRX2 -fse Wake
Posted by: mila06 - 2007-08-16, 06:39 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (11)

I have 1.0.16 PVRx2 -fse, up and running so good on my relative low specs. I have no problems what so ever(had to replace my GF 6200 with ATI 9550).
Thank you Sub !!!!!

I do have one q: How does the PVRx2-wake-thing work? Does it replace the old but indispensable gbpvr-wake(eg. does it fire of a CMD-file also)
I would like to do some things before it starts the PVRx2 -fse again.

'Attempted to read or write protected memory' with Hotfix installed
Posted by: macgyver - 2007-08-16, 05:41 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (11)

Despite having installed the hotfix described in the survival guide I'm still getting more and more of these 'Attempted to read or write protected memory' errors:

2007-08-16 13:37:00.640 ERROR [5] Error starting recording: System.AccessViolationException: Attempted to read or write protected memory. This is often an indication that other memory is corrupt.

at GBPVR.RecordingService.x93f60a55016d55c4.xcba1f05fb5a46d5f()

I'm running AVG A/V so I think I'll disable that for a short while and see if it goes away - is anyone else running AVG?
Are there other reasons for this error?
I'm running 1.0.16 on XP.
Thanks in advance for any help.

  subtitle font manipulation
Posted by: ercuem - 2007-08-16, 05:23 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

Hi sub,

first thank you, very good job again with 1.0.1.6

My question

With old GBPVR OSD skin xml, i was able to change to a specific font:

<TextStyle name="SubtitleFont" color="White" typeFace="Turkish font" size="18" style="bold"/>

With new PVRX2 OSD skin XML, i can't find such an option.

How can i change to my desired font.

Changing sub language in config makes no different, therefore i changed font in the OSD.XML

regards
ercuem

Xcard user looking for GBPVR V0.91 for DVD Playback
Posted by: scorpionv - 2007-08-16, 08:04 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

I'm using an xcard via the vip header through the video out on a ti500, I've got livetv working just fine, but the dvd controls are broken. According to another post, these dvd controls were broken on V0.92, and V0.91 is the latest version of GBPVR that still had working dvd controls for xcard. If anybody could send me a copy I'd really, really appreciate it.

Thanks in Advance

  SKY EPG for NZ
Posted by: idkpmiller - 2007-08-16, 07:29 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (26)

Hi calling all Kiwi's

I have had a really bad time using revens xmltv scraper recently, to such a degree that I need to look for an alternative.
So thats my question is there an alternative way of getting EPG for Kiwi's if so what are they? I will even consider moving from sky to telstra (even freeview is possible as most of my recordings are on TV2 and TV3) if it means I get reliable EPG as without it my PVR becomes barely usable, its actually amazing how quickly the WAF and KAF disappears when the EPG doesnt work :-D
I need to recover a bad situation and quick, as I have a new TV coming tommorrow and I dont want the PVR to not get a set of inputs allocated on the new TV.

Cheers
