As detailed here, I had a little trouble with the default skin on the MVP. Attached is a tweaked skin that basically just bumps up the button font a notch, makes the description bigger on the show, and makes the guide text a bit bigger. It's not much, but helps on my TV with the MVP (and it's 32"). Note that one thing is a bit different. For TVGuideChannelHeaderType=1 (in config.xml) it shows icon and number instead of number and name. I thought that looked better and the icon has the name anyway. If you don't use that the names on the guide might wrap since I shrank that column some to allow more room for the show boxes.

I have a problem with the forum date format on THIS forum only.
Dates show up as e.g. 08-14-2007, 06:09 AM.
I'd like to see 14-08-2007, 06:09 AM.
I have a US Keyboard as input language and UK English with pounds changed to $ as Regional Settings.
Using the same Browser in the same session (new tab) all other forums I visit, shows up as (2) above. There is no seperate CP option to change this ... I tried a UK Keyboard (no go, and it swaps @ and " around :-( )... soooooo.....how do I do it??? :confused:
I use the Ubustream 2.2 and GBPVR 0.99.12
I start GBPVR and go to Ubustream.
Here i play a video stream...wenn i stop the stream and i go back to the root of GBPVR, i get the error message "Input string was not in a correct format"
When i stay in ubustrem menu, i dont see an error.
Ubustream will dont work now and i can not start the config program.
I must delete the ubustream,xml and copy a saved xml.
I have been trying to make a high visibility skin for 1.0.16 (like the one I made for the old gbpvr huge WAF involved) but have run into a problem with the first thing I tried to change
When I alter the size in "<CompositeImage name="ButtonSelected" size="27.0,15.0">" it also alters the "ButtonNormal" when I view it :confused:
In case anyone wasn't aware... Channel 4 and ITV4 7 day EPGs now back up on mux 2 - that means that older versions will pick them up again.
I've asked lots of questions on other forums and nobody wants to tell me why they were dropped to now/next in the first place - do you think it could be something I said
Also, Film4+1 is now being replaced by Channel 4+1 (1 hour timeshift) on 20th August. Good news for BB followers but not for the rest of us...
Is there a way to use SetPopup when you have a plug-in that does not derive from BaseButtonListUiTask? The List/Buttons format doesn't make sense for the SkinPlugin but I would like to make use of the pop-up features of PVRX2.
I have had some stability issues. Where GBpvr just freeze up on the main manu so only way to get out of it is to kill the process. That is not popular with the wife...
Well I have not reinstalled windows (xp mce) in the two years I've had the HTPC, so I guess that it's time to reformat the disc and start over.
I want something really stable for the htpc, so I'm thinking of going win 2000.
Does GBpvr run well on that OS, or is it better to install a minimalistic XP pro?
Had a look through various threads but couldn't find any with my problem.
I had GBPVR setup and working well with a cheap non branded DVB-T card. I decided to get a dual tuner Nova T 500 (newer one with diversity) to replace it and my problems began.
When I go to the map digital channels bit, e.g. to tune in the channels, the scan starts but after about 5 seconds it locks the machine. No BSOD, the machine just hard locks. I've tried various different drivers for the card, various versions of the bda.ini from the forum and just to rule out XP, performed a fresh install on another HD, same result. It happens with both 1.0.8 and 1.0.16. I'm running XP Pro.
Anyone have any ideas as I'm at a total loss as to whats happening .
I will be moving out of the country soon and will solely be using my laptop for all my computer needs. I have external hard drives (firewire 800) connected to my laptop for all my storage needs.
I've been looking into an external capture card for tv and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or tips as to what I should get.
Has anyone else not been able to capture a signal over the S-Video or Composite inputs on the 150? Are they turned off by default? All I get is dark grey snow. I know the signal from my set-top is good because I checked it on my TV. The Coax capture works fine. Thanks.
