The included remote never really functioned properly even with the Cyberlink software except for a few functions.
Since I uninstalled the Cyberlink after installing GB-PVR I was hoping to improve the remote's functionality and get most of the buttons working.
Basically, all that is working right now are the keypad buttons for changing channels (but the channel up and down buttons have no effect).
The volume up and down don't work, but the DVD buttons work with Cyberlink's PowerDVD software.
The program launch button did work with the Cyberlink software but not with GB-PVR. That is about the only functionality I lost by switching to GB-PVR.
Since the PC is responding to the remote through the USB receiver I assume with a little knowledge about how to set it up it can be done.
When choosing Standby or Hibernate in the System menu, and something is currently recording, it would be nice if an option would pop up to have it standby when the recording finishes, rather than just standby immediately and crash the recording.
This feature would help get rid of the workaround of having to have Windows set to standby after a certain amount of time. I use my computer during the day on and off and don't want it going into standby. But, if I'm watching something late at night, and go to bed while it's recording, the Windows power management seems to be the only way to get it to standby after the recording finishes. (yes, i would just leave the thing on, but the computer is in my bedroom, and if it's summer and the door is shut... i wake up in a puddle of sweat )
Not sure why but when I exit back to main menu after watching LiveTV on the MVP (and power it off), if I then go upstairs to the PC, the recording service is still running on the PC?
Trying to install v1 on vista. I get the following errors:

Any suggestions or help with getting this software to work with this brand of HDTV card(ADSTech HDTV PCI card). There is no option or choice for this card in the configuration setup. Are there any default settings that can be used? Thanks in advance for any help.
I just found that my remote is inop with the new interface - no visible response. If I open the old interface via right clicking on the tray Icon, then all is as normal.
I am using the web interface to stream videos to another computer on my network. However, when I try to play the videos with media player classic, i get audio but no video. I can play the files fine with media player classic if I launch them directly from the file, but I lose the nice interface. Anyone know what's wrong? Is there a missing codec on my remote computer? Thanks so much for your help.
