I'm honestly scared to upgrade to this version

I'm running a amd 1.5 Gig with 512 ram and a 5200 Video card BFG 256meg.

Has anyone running close to this system install 1.08?

I am running on a ASUS A8V-VM with an AMD 3000+ which I believe equates to roughly 1.8ghz, with 1.5gb memory. I have onboard video which shares 256mb of RAM on the MB.

It runs pretty good, except that the video at times seems a little choppy. I think it has to do with the cheap onboard video. The video on the MVP looks fine.

Would the new version have anything to do w/ the playback of video?

For what it's worth, my older PVR System is an AMD Athlon 2Ghz, 768MB RAM, and an nVidia gForce 4800Ti. Runs very smoothly with the new release.

There is no negative to the upgrade IMHO. If your computer can't handle the new UI, you can use the old interface which is essentially V0.99.12 with all patches. Nothing lost by trying and reporting back how your hardware gets along.

The more reports of what hardware works/doesn't work the better.

It works in both GBPVR/PVRX2 1.0.8 for me.

I have a Tualatin 1.2GHz 512MB RAM Nvidia 6200 128M. While there are some odd niggles with firewalls and my MVP Icon, when it plays, it plays just fine on 1.08.

Well it pooched my system. Noq i can't go back to 99 because i do not have the install...

What happens is this... I install the file that is required for 1.08 to be installed.
I install 1.08 and when i launch pvrx2 I get the windows around it but nothing will appear in the center. When i do a CAD it's taking 35k worht of resources and using 0 cpu.

Sub i would love to use this but can't seem to get it running. If you can help i'll love it.
