My reading of it suggests that it is aimed at IPTV providers ... I assume that none of them are in the US and that they will give this a damn good ignoring.
Please, support posts should not be posted in this thread.
1. Pluto TV content from https://pluto.tv/ Content is based on your country. UK and US users will find a lot of information. It can actually be overwhelming so check the website to see for yourself
Comes with guide data too unfortunately it is only about 5 hours worth at a time.
2. After installing applications in 2 and 3 you will need to restart the NextPVR server to get the upgraded PATH
3. Unzip the attached into the NextPVR data directory.
4. Decide whether you are going to use Schedules Direct or XMLTV for you guide source. Free XMLTV feeds for this service is available but the links can change. For Schedules Direct using I found this "United Kingdom (extended) - Cable" had all the channels.
I recommend installing your source before the next step.
5. From Settings->Devices selection either extra-filmon or extra-sdnames-filmom which should be in the list, if not hit the Refresh button and maybe Ctrl-F5
6. Select the channels you want and hit save. Your icons should be downloaded during this stage.
7. From Settings->Channels->Advanced Tools-> Auto Map select Extra, you EPG source and use the Names option.
I was recording the American football game last night. The title is "NFL Football" and it ran from approximately 8 pm to 11 pm. (I think 8:00 to 11:15.) I started watching on the Windows client a couple of hours after it had started. An hour and two minutes into the program, I hit Pause and either Stop or Back. Then I exited the Windows client. Later, I restarted the Windows client to resume watching the game. It had been deleted. I think I stopped watching around the time it finished recording, I am not sure it that matters. For sports, I always record a show or two afterwards rather than extending the event. I restarted the Windows client a second time, so the log file for the client that ends in ".2" in the attached log files is the one from when I was watching.
Note, I am one version back of the latest because I didn't see any fixes that seemed like I needed them immediately.
Please add NextPVR to the name of the login screen title.
I use KeePass as my password manager, and it uses the window name to auto type the username and password.
The current "Login" title is too generic, as it is a partial match for most other login screens.
Thank you!

Hi, I've had a problem for a while, it seems like NPVR often cannot get or lock on to a tuner when I try to watch live TV. I have an HVR-2200 (dual tuner).
For example I click on a channel to view, and the screen is just black. I press escape and repeat, and sometimes it works correctly on the 2nd attempt, but it can take 4 or 5 goes.
Another situation is I'm watching live tv just before 6pm, and a dialog pops up to tell me there isn't a tuner available to record the 6pm news... but I have a dual tuner card. (And if the 'live tv' is buffered and I'm a few minutes behind, after I dismiss the message I've lost the remains of whatever I was watching :-( )
I removed all channels from both tuners, re-tuned one, then exported the channels from the first tuner and imported into the second. The setup and also NPVR device status both show 2 tuners.
Any idea what could be going wrong? Maybe a complete uninstall/reinstall is needed to clean up whatever is wrong, but I don't want to lose all my current recordings. It seems less reliable in the last few weeks and I don't know if that's because of recently installing 4.2.5 or re-tuning.
So yes I'm currently running NPVR 4.2.5... I briefly looked at installing 5 but I got the impression it would not be a 5 minute job to retain all my current recordings (maybe I'm wrong about that) so I thought I'd stick with the old.
Also I doubt this is a factor, I have no spare disk for recording, but my system has been full for a couple of years(!) and live tv still works once it 'locks in'... my tuner problem has only been occurring for the last 2-3 months.
