Quote:Since I did no channel merging, I have two guide sources: SD for the HDHR stations and XMLTV for the locast stations.
Did notice one issue...Tonight's NCIS is a season premier: locast channel 2.1 shows the green Premier tag but the SD channel 502 listing does not. Same thing on the desktop. The XMLTV guide data seems to be more accurate than the SD data. Sounds like a problem. Logs are attached.
I've been working on getting mvallevand's locast.py EXTRA device installed and running on my PC desktop. Works quite nicely except for the issue in the above quote taken from a post on the General Discussion section.
Can this issue be corrected so that the two guide sources supply the same information?
When I set up a recurring recording in Kodi it's set up in NextPVR as expected with the channel showing. I'm also able to set up a new recurring recording in NextPVR which will allow me to select which channel to record.
My issue is that I can't edit the channel on a recurring recording from Kodi as shown in the screenshot
I would like to see the column headings shown on the web app Settings->Channels page to remain in view when scrolling. This will keep the Number column top checkbox in view for easy access.
I’m having difficulty in configuring IPTV. I have deleted my IPTV device and rescanned for a fresh one. Then attempt to “Import Using M3U”. My m3u url and xmltv url have both been refreshed.
The subsequent “Import” does not complete. The logs (attached) report “Failed to download channel list” for the m3u file yet I can download this file and play it OK using VLC.
On the "Channels" page under "Settings", would it be possible to change the behavior of the check boxes? When a channel is changed, deleted, moved around, etc., all of the check boxes become filled with checks after said procedure is completed. It is a bit of a pain to have to scroll all the way to the top of the page and check, uncheck the top box to make the rest of checks disappear.
I have just installed NPVR and am currently using DVBViewer but like the way NPVR seems to work like the old WMC.
My problem is when I select the tuner (which works fine on DVBViewer) the scan does not detect any channels/
The tuner is a Hauppage Quad PCIe card.
cheers

I can't import a recording made on one laptop to another laptop in NPVR v5. This worked in v4.
My wife and I separately use a bank of HDHomeRun Tuners to record from our antenna. Sometimes one of us of records a show that the other wants. In v4 I copied the folder and its .ts file to a usb drive, loaded it into the recording directory on the other computer, and imported the file. It appeared in the "What's New" list.
In v5, I go through the above and include the folder, .ts and .xml file of the recording but nothing imports.
Both laptops have the same folder structure and the recording directories are both called "E:\Recorded TV"
