I searched and found that if you hit '999' it toggles commercial skip. This is very handy, but not very intuitive. There is no confirmation on the screen or anything that all "999' was successfully read, or what the current status of autoskip is. (am I turning it on, or off?)
Perhaps the time line could pop up when you hit 999 and the skipped portions could be a different shade, to show they are flagged but will play. Just a thought to get the ball rolling.

and then click on the Execute Button. Then you are ready to go. I have not included the live BBC Radio feeds as the URLs of these are fairly static and I expect you probably have them setup in a group already. in case you don't I have listed the URLs you'll need at the end of this post.
All the streams are in RealAudio format so I have set the default player to Real Player. I personally don't use that piece of bloatware  and have as yet to find one of these streams that does not play with VLC, Media Player Classic with the RealAlternative DLLs or the Storm Codec Pack. I'm currently using VLC as to my ears it sounds less "ringy" with the lower bitrate streams than the other two, and it has one reasonable visualisation. The only thing I miss that Media Player Classic allows is the ability to jump to a given time point in the stream (useful if you are listening over a couple of sessions or your ADSL got disconnected). If anyone knows how to do this in VLC please let me know.
The BBC LARDY dynamic source is written in Visual Basic 2005 as a .Net command line application and strips its data from The Beebotron http://beebotron.awardspace.com/. Please visit the site and click through to webcron.org to help the site continue running.
Please post any problems/faults/comments regarding BBC LARDY to this thread and I'll endeavour to fix/respond as appropriate.
Regards

I installed a windows update that was something concerning "removal of unsafe softwares"
I also install winamp
Now :
When I want to open the TV guide, I have a error message saying no channel is defined, although this worked very fine yesterday.
If i open the GB-PVR config, I have a error popup message about
"Microsoft.Jet.OleDB 4.0 provider is not registered on the local machine"
Is this know problem?
How can I recover my GB-PVR setup?
I have a pvr350 before and change to 2pvr150 mce and now somthing is wrong
with the recorded files but i cant find it the picture quality is good after a high
bitrate sceen the quality looks to drop down and have low quality for some seconds and when i convert it to divx this sceens are extrem blurry .
are they some big difrents in the cards way to work or somthing else ?
i have use the same program for convert in many years now and it have work
just fine untill now
I've just upgraded my system and seem to be having a few stability problems. The worst seems to be the fact that if I put my system into sleep mode turn it back on results in GB-PVR hanging (Windows is OK). I'm also getting the Windows "an error has occured send/don't send dialogue box" appearing when I try and exit from GB-PVR. What log files might give me an indication of what could be causing this? My system has been very stable and has had no problems with the last few upgrades.
I just fixed this CDK scheduler bug which was submitted to sourceforge on 2005-09-28. It has to do with recordings that start before and end after midnight.
[ 1307086 ] Some programs will not record went using Advance
Just replace your RecordingUtils.dll by this one (keep a backup). If nobody has problems I'll merge it into sourceforge for the next release.
I just received the Moto DCT700 from comcast. I have installed the laster IR Blaster software version 4 from Hauppauge website and could not configure it to control the DCT700 from the PVR150 retail. If anyone here gets it working, please let me know what code you are using it with.
Love GBPVR... it is incredibly powerful, but I have a couple of questions concering the guide (I'm using Zap2It in America).
When I record a show, the default is 1 minute pre-padding and 2 minutes post-padding. However, if I am recording 2 shows at 8 and 2 more at 9 on different channels, I'm obviously going to run into a problem.
First of all, I would expect the recordings to be 1 hour and 3 minutes long... yet they seem to only be between 58 and 59 minutes long and I miss the end of my show. Furthermore, because the padding runs into the next set recording, there is a conflict for a few minutes where it is trying to record 4 things. i'm not exactly sure what the result was, but when I tried to record 2 back to back 1 hour shows, all with 1 minute pre and 2 minutes post padding, I ended up with 2 files that were 58-59 minutes long (the early shows) where the end was cut off, and the later 2 shows did not record at all.
Would setting the pre- and post- padding to 0 take care of this? Is there any other workaround?
I can't seem to get the the MVP to play pictures, videos, or music off a network drive. I have mapped their locations as suggested in one thread, I have set the gbpvr service up to run under an admin account as suggested in another, I have gone to the host pc and reshared the folders several times. i have mapped, remapped, changed doongles, skins, you name it I have changed every setting a rookie could think of. I can see the main folder for each (pictures, videos, music) on the MVP so I know I've mapped them out, the mvp just wont open the folders to show the files contained. I have to be missing something simple and I appologize for such a rookie question. The MP3 streaming was really one of the main functions that I was eager to get working. I thank anyone in advance for any help they may have.
