I have v5 installed on my Windows Server 2016 Essentials machine and using Kodi on my previous gen Shield as the client. All the settings are default.
I notice that SD channel IQ is noticeably soft across all SD channels. HD channels look fine to me. Is there a way I can improve the IQ on SD channels? I see that the config.xml has options under SreamingProfiles to adjust VideoBitrate. Is this where I should be looking? I've left the preferred streaming profile as 'default' under transcoding. I'm not sure what this does. Should I change this to the resolution of my TV?

I'm a new user, I discovered NextPVR some days ago and I did my first setup to try it today.
For now, everything is working well, except EPG. I already tried multiples tricks, but it still delayed by one hour.
My first try was on Docker, then I reinstalled it directly on a Debian 10 (fresh installed) with the DEB file and I still have this problem. The problem is the same, no matter if I use the web-interface or Kodi Client, on two different computers. I also tried another XMLTV file from another provider. My timezone (CET) is correctly defined on my server and on my clients.

Is there a known solution or a trick to fix this problem?
I'm a new user and have my Schedules Direct login and password entered but the EPG isn't updating. It only has the over-the-air program guide. Help will be greatly appreciated.
I'm a complete novice at this and not very technically minded, so please bear that in mind if you hopefully reply.
Using comskip, if I drag the recorded ts file on top of either comskip.exe or postprocessing.bat files, comskip successfully identifies the commercials in the vast majority of cases.
However, NVPR does not seem to run the postprocessing.bat file automatically and I have to do it all manually. What do I need to do to get NVPR to recognise and run the bat file please (in plain language if possible please)

Don't know if intentionally but not all thumbnails are the same size when viewing all recordings.
I think it would be nicer if all thumbnails are same size.
Hi, I am very impressed with NextPVR and within a day had my machine set up recording, with all minor snags sorted by searching through this forum. I also got my smart tv to play the recordings via Plex.
When scanning, it missed a channel which I know is there, and can get the info required from the EyeTV setup I was previously using. Is there a tuner config file which is populated by NPVR when it conducts a channel scan, and is it possible for me to manually edit it to include the missing channel, and if so, which file is it and where is it located in a MacOS setup?
My rig is:
MacOS Mojave hackintosh, NPVR V5, ffMPEG home-brew installation, Elgato / Geniatech Netstream 4Sat.
I have a HDHomeRun Expand (4 tuners). I run NextPVR in docker on Windows 10.
I go to guide and want to record 4 shows currently airing. First three work but when I want to record the 4th (Lingo) it does not record, also Lingo in the the guide is not turned red. The strange thing is that when I retry it shows me a different popup suggesting it is recording?!?. When I check my tuner status only 3/4 tuners are recording.
If you press Play(?) it will give you an overview of the settings you can edit.
I think the caption of this Play textbutton is wrong.

Not all EPG data is shown in the Guide. On my Samsung TV the guide is much more populated. Also in TV Mosaic all EPG data is shown... so the data is there but it's not all used by NextPVR which is a real pitty if you want to do more advanced recording using filter on these descriptions.
Is this a bug? I could give you more log/testdata if you want.
If you use Search to find all "Christmas" in title and genre is "Movie / Drama" and press "Create Recording" and just do Save the movies which were found are not added to Pending list.
