  change fonts sizes within skin
Posted by: marcelo - 2006-12-27, 01:05 AM - Forum: Old Stuff (Legacy) - Replies (2)

I was wondering if there is a way to change the size of the font using different types of skins?

I cannot reduce the size within windows default otherwise it would be to small for my eyes.

But it seems that the font is a little bit to big for the boxes of the skins/program.

Any help or leads to would be really appreciated.

Marcelo.

Thanks in advance.

Tried a few times but the download seems be getting cut short at 2980 kb and the resulting archive shows the attached error?

  99.5 Crashes watching sat channels
Posted by: sota - 2006-12-26, 11:24 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (27)

I installed a Hauppauge Nova-S Plus alongside my PVR500 card. I'm using the latest drivers for the card but whenever I try to watch a satellite channel I get "GB-PVR has encountered a promelm and needs to close". Using MyTheatre to watch the same channels works fine.

The error in gbpvrrecording service is:

26/12/2006 23:14:40.875 VERBOSE [7] Checking for other recordings using device: DEVICE:Hauppauge Nova-S-Plus:1
26/12/2006 23:14:40.875 VERBOSE [7] RenewLease finished (accepted - preview mode)

Any ideas?

  Audio Decoder Questions
Posted by: salmonlv - 2006-12-26, 10:50 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

I am assuming that this is a really stupid question because it seems everyone on this forum knows the answer, but when it comes to the audio decoder it is not clear to me where I get it (InterVideo, NVIDIA, CyberLink, etc.). I read that it comes with my hardware, but I have installed all the drivers from my video card and my tuner cards, and I don't think I have an audio decoder on my computer. Is this software that I have to purchase or is it available for dowload for free on the web? If it is available for dowload, where do I go to get it?

GBPVR Mentioned on "Download Squad" Blog

The release of ver 99.5 was covered by Download Squad this afternoon.

I think this is a fairly widely read blog. We may be welcoming a wave of new users this week.

FF Skip goes backwards on long files
Posted by: djtaylor - 2006-12-26, 07:54 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (2)

Has anyone else noticed this problem where at the beginning of an MPG file being played back on an MVP, that the forward skip works fine but when getting towards the end of say a 1.5 to 2 hour programme, the skip doesn't go forwards but instead starts going backwards?

It can get very frustrating when trying to skip forwards through adverts and find that instead, it's backing up and by considerable amounts, minutes at times.

Problem playing back .avi & DVD since 0.99.5
Posted by: ShiningDragon - 2006-12-26, 07:06 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

Hi sub,

some problems here:

Skipping of recorded files:
Too fast skipping/forwarding freezes GB-PVR. Non entry in Logs @ Debug.

Playback of Videofiles (.avi, DivX/Xvid @ MP3):
Some Movies work, some movies don't work, although the used CoDecs are all the same (all ripped by myself from DVD and transcoded to .avi). Before 0.99.5 were no problems.

Playback of DVD:
If i try to playback a dvd, then nothing happens. The Screen remains black, and none of the optical drives works (although the letters are correct assigned within config).
This one i could "repair" by choosing the Standard DVD-Navigator instead the NVIDIA Navigator within Config.

Here's the log of GB-PVR.exe while trying to playback an .avi:

  SQLLite DB is locked
Posted by: JonRoyle - 2006-12-26, 06:53 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (3)

I upgraded yesterday and I am now having a lot of problems with locked SQL DB which is causing numerous. I have read the post on Locked DB when converting files but I don't use file conversion. My main use has been via EWA.

More details is in my post on issues with EWA and IIS. http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=22742

Latest error (web page) when trying to cancel a recording is as follows

  Five - UK Channel Five
Posted by: cwroberts - 2006-12-26, 06:50 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (13)

I cannot get my Hauppauge WinTV-HVR 1300 to pickup Five. I am certain I can receive it in my area, and I can get other channels, like Channel 4, but not Five. Is there any way I can add it manually, or help it pick it up?

What info do I need to give you?

Any help much appreciated,
