I'm really new to all this but i installed WinTv-PVR-350 and every thing works fine then i installed gbpvr and every thing works accept the FM radio.
It said that i don't have any FM radio stations configured. I have searched every where and haven't found anything that was real clear on what to do.
So if any body could help me with this it would be great.
Windows XP

Thanks UJB for getting the photolibrary up and running on the EWA. I am wondering if there are any way to use thumbnails in some way. My point is that my photo library consists of pictures with the size ranging from 1-3 mb and it takes alot of time to view picture by picture.
What I am looking for is a way to generate thumbnails at home which is first loaded and displayed in EWA and the full picture is not loaded until you select it.
not sure if this software is what I am looking for or not..... I have an adapter that takes my s-video cable from my cable box and sends it to my usb port. the software i have is for burning dvd's and what I would like to do is to be able to use my laptop as a monitor for my other cable box in the other room.... just bought this thing and i can't justify a new tv as well...... anyone have any suggestions?
I searched the forums, but couldn't find a definitive answer. I am looking for a way to record the radio input on the PVR-350. Is there some way to do this in GB-PVR or is this a feature that could be implemented in the future? Is there some other known solution? Thanks
This is an odd little problem what happens only when I play a pending recording that is still recording.
When I am fast forward skipping along to avoid commercials, somewhere during the last twenty to five minutes (inconsistent), after skipping forward it begins to play video very fast, at something like twice normal speed. It's as if I was holding down the FF button on an analog VCR.
Skipping back then allows the video to play normally. But if skip ahead again, it's like I have hit a wall, and the problem reoccurs. I can finish out watching the program at regular speed. But if I pause in my watching and increase the amount time I am behind, I can fast forward again until I get too close and hit that wall again.
I had a very careful look at the gbpvr.exe log, and I can find nothing unusual. It seems to skip forward and backward the usual number of seconds, and storeLastPlayback position doesn't reflect the sped-up playback.
Has anyone else seen this sort of behavior? I've applied fixes for the Hauppauge PVR-150 timestamp problem that created vaguely similar playback problems before (although I do not get the random jumping around that I did with that problem), but I still wonder if it still might be related? Like it is skipping ahead of the corrected timestamp in the recorded stream or something?
(in the attached logs, the problem definitely occurred at the end of the GBPVRlog in the last skipping forwards and backs)
Hey Sub I noticed that one day out of the blue when I started up GBPVR that when I went to go to TV Guide it told me that I had to EPG set up or something to that extent. Anyways I went to config and I got an error during startup which I get sometimes when I start up GBPVR now.
I saw a reference to a "Plugin" so I went to Plugins and deleted some expiremental plugin that I didn't need anyway but it didnt do the trick. I am out of ideas and asking for your help Sub.
I am unable to get the video streaming to work. I am just trying to get it to work over 2 pc's in my home for now. I have VLC installed on both machines. When I click on the Streaming button I can see the GBPVR icon in the task bar turn to green. So I guess its trying to stream, but nothing comes up in VLC on the second machine. Any help in trying to help me walk through this would be greatly appreciated.
Maybe this a little late in the game to ask, but I need to know. I just completed the PVR (except for the IR Blaster).
Heres what I have:
IO Digital Cable (1 Receiver)
PVR using WinTV PVR 250 input (using Svideo)
My Primary goal is to Program and record shows for my kids.
My other goal is to watch one channel while recording another, This part is still a mystery to me as have not got the IR Blaster and figure that I haven't finished configure my PVR yet.
I don't really understand how my PVR will tune one channel while I'm tunning another on the TV.
Con anyone give me a good break down or point me in the direction of one. Thanks
Everytime i'm trying to access my PVR thru my local machine or the LAN i get redirected to the apache website and i'm not trying to run EWA on a apache server the machine has a clean win xp install, any ideas?
