First off, great job on the application. I'm really happy with it.
I'm having an issue though. I cleared out all of my scheduled recordings, as I was having issues recording a specific show, and couldn't figure out why.
I am trying to schedule the Wonder Pets for my kids, and for some reason one of them fails. Keep in mind, nothing else is scheduled.
Example:
Tonight, I cleared everything out, so nothing was in my scheduled recordings. I searched for the Wonder Pets, selected Any Time Slot, Any Day, Medium Quality, and click record, just like I always did.
1 out of the three that's listed get scheduled, and I get a failure on one specific recording.
Wishing all here a Great Thanksgiving ! ! And hope you all stay warm.......Here its 4 Below zero and last night it got to about 13 Below zero.....Buuuurrrrrr
Hi, trying to set up gbpvr with the Sutton coldfield transmitter, with no success. I have a Humax freeview box on main tv and this picks up Sutton coldfield no problem. I am using the same aerial with a splitter on it.
I can get other transmitters but not all the channels are available.
I have other trial dvbviewing software on my pc which do pick up the sutton coldfield channels, will these conflict with gb-pvr.
Any ideas.
Thanks.
I have a flydvb-t hybrid, it has digital tv (work great with GBPVR), analog TV ( work with softwarerecorder plug-in) and a FM-tuner but I really don't know how to configure GBPVR it to listen the radio. Can anybody tell me any advice to do that ?
Thank you.
I am setting up 3 client units right now off of 1 server and perormance for one reason or another of live tv or recording playbacks are not that stellar. I have also been through multiple threads and troubleshooting tips to no avail... So, here is the plan, have the server record the majority of tv programs into a shared directory, export the recordings listing and then import them into the clients. Off of the clients, I would use them to just watch live tv. So, with that said, is there a command line utility that can be used to export and to import recording listings?
I have an apache webserver and I'm trying to get my webadmin working for GBPVR through my apache server. I followed the Setup Apache CLI instructions on the wiki and get the following error when trying to load the web interface:
[SIZE="1"][COLOR="Red"]Server Error in '/gbpvr' Application.

First of all, I just found out I was still on access db, so I gave a new wirl at converting. however got the locked db problem. Tried turning off processing as it is suggested in the survival guide. No luck. Now I can't even reset up my channel list manually as the EGP dosen't import the channels in to the list.
So this is odd... at least to me. I changed my PVR from a AMD Sempron system to a P4 865PE system. I reinstalled Windows and everything from scratch but GBPVR crashes when I watch live TV when I use overlay manager (which I have been using for a while now). If I use VMR9 it does not crash. I would prefer Overlay since it runs video smoother for me.
The Windows crash says simply "GB-PVR has encountered a problem and needs to close". I would copy the error report but it won't let me copy and paste it. I attached logs, but I see no error there. Any ideas?
I am using Hauppauge MPEG2 codec and have tried it's audio decoder and AC3 Filter (which I used before) and it seems to make no difference. Thanks for any help.
Not really a GBPVR issue but thought someone here might know the answer anyway. Assuming that things are set up correctly, GBPVR will bring the PC out of Standby to perform recordings and will then allow the PC to resume Standby when recording is finished -- this works perfectly for me but...
There are some times that I find that the PC has come out of Standby for some unknown reason (unknown to me anyway)... no scheduled recording, no update service scheduled for a specific time, nothing that I can find. No evidence in the GBPVR logs that IT is responsible so I am assuming some other piece of software.
I'm wondering if XP keeps a log somewhere of when the PC comes out of (and goes back into) Standby (not Hibernate although that might be useful as well). I figure that if I can see a pattern, then it might allow me to identify what is going on. I checked the multitude of XP logs that I am familiar with and none seem to record this event.
