have tried Hauppauge 45 burron fix and checking use direct access for Hauppauge remote in config app along with turning off Ir.exe (which is never shown in task manager processes). also checked Irremote.ini for entries and all looks OK.
It seems that if I want to record a show from show search but there is a conflict, it just gives an error instead of asking if i would like to cancel. it would be nice if either (a) it would give a dialog box asking if i would like to cancel, or (b) have some way to navigate to the episode in question from the tv guide so i can record it there.
Great plugin btw, saves those of us who use remotes.
Hi, Where can I find the key mapings for the Hauppauge remote control? I have a 45 buton remote and would like to know what buttons do what. Some of them are odbious but others I don't know and there are some funtions I would like to be able to do with the remote such as navigate the guide by day. I can go forward a day in the guide but don't know how ot go back ot hte previous or current day after have gone forard a day or more. Thanks.
Hi, I recently updated from 98.08 to 98.13 and I now seem to get an error message when I'm in live tv and hit the record button, it goes back to the main menu and shows this error........
I've updated the SS2Recorder plugin, the new version is 0.4.2 and can be downloaded from the wiki page here.
The main new feature is the ability to record DVB-S radio (although "Live" radio still isn't possible). The plugin also now has the ability to drive a Diseqc motor (with the addition of the SS2DiSEqC program). Less interestingly, the main dll is now provided as a .NET assembly, which makes things a bit tidier.

I'm working on setting up a GBPVR system which has been going great and now the only step I have left to complete it is the serial IR blaster sending signals to my STB. I have been searching through the forum and just can't seem to connect the dots on how to do it. I have winlirk and the serial Transmitter that the winlirk website shows how to build. The hauppauge remote works fine with GBPvr so am I on the right track in thinking that all I need to do is setup Winlirk to recieve the remotes commands though GBPVR? I have read some on HIP but not clear if I really need that to make this work. Any pointers or threads I should be looking at?
For the past month I have had a couple of shows set to program Mon-Fri at static times. But for somereason, yesterday GB-PVR stopped recording them and shows nothing to be recorded in the main menu. When I go Recording and into Pending, it also shows nothing pending. But when I go into Recording and into Reoccuring it shows my shows to be recorded with the usual times and days. How come it suddenly stopped recording them?
Has anyone been able to get MyPrograms to work with any CPS2 emulators?
I've been able to get all of my emulators to work great with MyPrograms except for the cps2 emulators.
The problem that I've been facing is that its seems like all CPS2 emulators (winkawaks, callus, nebula, final burn alpha) have the same command line command:
"file" rom -fullscreen
or
I believe the reason why MyPrograms is not working with these emulators is because they will not allow an extention attached to the rom name in the command line.
i.e. spft2.zip
So I tried three different set ups for MyPrograms:
Arguements: %ROM% -fullscreen
Extention: zip
Arguements: %ROM% -fullscreen
Extention:
Arguements: %ROM% -fullscreen
Extention: ""
The first set up showed all of the roms, would open the program when I clicked on the rom, but wouldnt load the rom.
The second and third setup would not display the roms.
My thought its that when it tries to run the rom, MyPrograms is sending either of these command lines to winKawaks
I tried removing the extention from the actual file but that did not work either. Does anyone have a solution to this problem? I'm thinking that if I could display the roms in MyPrograms without the extention then it could work, but I havent been able to do that successfully. I'm very stuck, and I think that it may not be possible to solve this problem, but any help or suggestions would be great.
