I am having a problem where postprocessing.bat is not being executed when the recording is done. I use comskip while recording, and I am trying to have comclean.bat run following the recording. I am using version version 0.98.8.
postprocessing.bat:
-------------------
c:
cd "C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvrâ
rem comskip %1
call comclean.bat %1
rem Renamerecording %
Performed an uninstall of GBPVR, saved config and gbpvr.mdb first, then reinstalled and after the install finishes, I get this. Not sure what went wrong but repair installs still don't change things. Anyone care to translate this for me?
Hi, I'm trying to get the "media" button to display and run GBPVR on my logitech wireless keyboard using itouch. To do this I have to update the players.ini file in the logitech\itouch directory, the format and example shown below: -
and restarting itouch but still nothing is displayed on the menu when you hit the media button. I know the Class is correct as I use the firefly remote control successfully with the same class.
I use GB-PVR with Zap2it to obtain the TV listings. I really like the GB-PVR format as compared to the commercial options I have seen. The one thing that the commercial options seem to have the GB-PVR doesn't is the ability to search by category: movies, sports, drama, etc. Zap2it has just added such a feature to their on-screen line up that displays on my regular computer so it would be very nice if it also displayed on the GB-PVR display.
I recently upgraded from 09612 to 09713 to 09808, and converted to SQL.
Whenever a change is made in the recording schedule, on Exit from GBPVR, Recording Service crashes with the exact same error code as in v0.98.8 Survival Guide post #2.
I do NOT have NOD32, Panda Antivirus, Net Limiter, McAfee, nor any other anti-virus running that I'm aware of. In Windows Security Center, Firewall is Off, and Virus Protection is Not Monitored.
Just uploaded version 2 of the ScreenSaver plugin to the wiki.
New features include:
Added DVB screen saver support! Use âTV Channel screen saverâ.
ScreenSaver can now be shown as a VideoPlugin.
The Picture Slideshow screen saver now randomises by default.
Added Force24HourClock config option.
Quote:To have the ScreenSaver plugin appear ontop of playing video (or DVB) you must add âScreen Saverâ, as one of the VideoPlugins in the config.xml file. The ScreenSaver can then be shown by pressing the assigned video plugin number, and then the F11 or GO key.
A screen saver can be selected for use as a VideoPlugin OSD. So for example, if you are listining to DVB radio you can bring up the TV Channel Screen Saver, hiding whatever is being shown behind it.
I've tried learning some DOS commands to make automation easier, but I'm having some trouble. In my postprocessing.bat, I have comskip run, then videoredo to cut out the commercials. Then I want to transcode, and I found this neat program (AutoXvid) that automates AutoGk. And after that I have RenameRecordings to make sure everything gets the right name. Problem seems to be that RenameRecordings launches right after AutoXvid is CALLED and renames the file while it is being transcoded. (And what AutoXvid does is call and input settings into AutoGK, which in turn calls vitualdubmod and other apps). Is there a pause feature I can use (not the pause command, obviously because that requires user input) to wait until every process of AutoXvid is done before renaming the recording?
Or, alternatively, is there a way to rename the recording first and tell AutoXvid to use the changed name (which can't be %1 anymore)?
Code:
"C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\comskip.exe" %1
cscript //nologo "C:\Program Files\VideoReDoPlus\vp.vbs" "%~dpn1.VPrj" "%~dpn1_Cleaned.mpg" /t1 /q
Rem RENAME the old .mpg file and rename the new one to the old name
move "%~dpn1.mpg" "%~dpn1_original.mpg"
move "%~dpn1_cleaned.mpg" "%~dpn1.mpg"
REM The following lines cleanup the directory.
move "%~dpn1_original.mpg" "F:\originals\"
move "%~dpn1.txt" "F:\originals\"
move "%~dpn1.log" "F:\originals\"
move "%~dpn1.VPrj" "F:\originals\"
move "%~dpn1.logo.txt" "F:\originals\"
"C:\Program Files\AutoXvid\AutoXvid.exe" %1
RenameRecordings.exe > RenameRecording.log
I would like to see a guide not unlike the way many cable and DTV providers do it, where the entire video image is scaled to 1/4 of the screen and you can scroll through the channels while continuing to watch the same show. This has to be doable, since, well, cable and DTV is doing it.
