Jeff, what does the following error look like to you?

I just dropped another $10 in your bucket as a sincere thank you for creating the client functionality, and I wanted to also post an open thank you here in the hope it motivates others to do the same thing I did:
Until now GBPVR has only contributed to me being a lazy bastard, vegging out to more television than most people could ever dream of watching. : ) However the client function has allowed me to take an old machine I had just sitting around, which was not quite ready to be a grown-up GBPVR server, and build a remote machine. With a wireless card plus an old Leadtek tuner card with a remote I could repurpose (using Girder) into controlling the GBPVR menu system, I've got a server I can take anywhere in the house.
Where I took it was my exercise room, which like many people's does not get the use it probably should. The reason I don't exercise as much, or so I tell myself, is the sheer boredom of hammering out mile after mile on the treadmill. Music wasn't ever quite enough to keep my brain distracted, but TV is. Since I built it, I'm exercising like I should be.
Now if the rest of you could check in with me now and again and make sure I keep it up...
Not sure if I'm correct but on some channels on the top couple of lines there seems to be some kind of interference. Is this teletext or some other kind of information sent over the DVB stream? If so any plans for a crop setting to rermove this?
my gbpvr is playing in fast forward mode and I cant' seem to turn it off. The audio and the video is just playing really fast and I can't figure out why. I attached my native.
Good evening all,
This may be a silly question and I apologise in advance if it is, but I did look in the forum first with no success.
I have a PVR 150, connected on a STB (NTL digital). Everything works great (channel changer too). I have this setup for over a year now, lovin' it. Sometime, NTL moves channels numbers around (especially when they add a new one) and I used to go to the GBPVR Configuration tool and simply "remap" or should I say rename the channel number.
It's been a while now, and it looks like I do have some more changes to do, but this time (and I have the latest GB PVR version downloaded the 12/09/06), if I go to "Capture source" and "edit", the channel list is empty (see screenshot). Before, I had the full list here. I tried "update EPG", but didn't work.
Any idea why? I am using the XMLTV GUI 3.05.01 to generate my XML file.
Wasn't sure if I should post this or not, since I know others have requested it and been rejected. But it would be great if video could be recorded directly to DVD format (MPEG 3 or whatever?) so it doesn't have to be post-processed by a third-party program that knocks over my computer for an hour to burn a DVD!
I'm pretty fuzzy on the different encodings and all that, half the time I can't follow the threads in these forums when they start on about muxing and DVR-9 or whatever, so I don't know how this all works in the back end.
Is the format that GB-PVR writes limited by whatever the hardware outputs? If that's the case, I can understand the problem; decoding and re-encoding would have to be done in real time, which would probably be too resource intensive. But if the video is coming from the hardware in uncompressed format, seems it would be just as easy to record in DVD format as any other.
Thanks for all the great work, sub. Not perfect, but better than the alternatives by a long shot!
