Hi
I have successfully downloaded and added tv tuners to the npvr. When I go into the program and use live tv a message comes up saying audio is missing and go to settings to change and get MPEG 1 audio I try to do this but it does not seem to work. Please could someone give advice on how to get the audio.
Thanks
On the 22nd of June several Channels will cease broadcasting and several more are changing mux to accommodate the permanent closure of COM8 on the 25th June - This is because of 700MHz clearance for 5G Mobile Coms.
Hi - is there a way to load channel groups via a script or config file of some sort? I have literally thousands of channels and there is no way I can map them all by hand...
Using the latest NPVR plugin with LibreElec (9.2.3 / Kodi 18.7.1) on a RPi, how do I stop the plugin refreshing the list of recordings etc every minute ? An interval of an hour or so would be fine for my purposes.
My PC has been suffering from intermittent NPVR tray issues, almost 50% of the time after reboot the tray is grey and the program does not detect my two tuners even after installing the patched NShared.dll.
The problem appears to be due to NPVRtray.exe running too quickly during the boot process.
My amateur solution is as follows :-
1. Disable or remove the NPVRtray.exe entry from the Windows 10 startup group.
2. Go to C:\Users\"your pc name"\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\Startup
(To directly access this folder, open Run, type shell: startup and hit Enter).
3. Create a new text file and name it StartupOrder.bat
4.Edit the file and type in the following text.
@ECHO OFF
TIMEOUT /T 2
REM Total Delay = boot time plus 2 seconds
START "" "C:\Program Files\NextPVR5\NPVRTray.EXE"
First off, I tried searching the forums but no one has a problem quite like this that I could find. I set the HDHomerun Setup BDA compatibility mode to Mediaportal and Default with no change.
I am in the USA using ATSC on Win7. HDHomerun DUAL.
When I run a channel scan on my HDHomerun tuners it finds all my channels but one. RF Channel 35 contains 4 broadcast channels but for some reason the app just skips right over them. I can see the channel in the homerun setup app so it's not the homerun hardware. I am using the BDE mode tuners because the HDHR device does not work, it just gives me a 'Failed to start requested stream' error when I try to view any channels on that device. I can get the ATSC BDE mode tuners to work, but they skip channel 35 for some reason, which is a major broadcaster in this area and the whole thing is pointless if I can't get that channel. The reception is 100% and like I said the HDHomerun setup app can see and receive that channel just fine. I can't find anywhere in the new web ingterface to manually add a channel, so I'm not sure if that's even possible any more. I have attached the latest log file if that helps at all. Thanks.
I just upgraded and now I am not able to see any details when I connect with the web interface and click on Settings. I have included my cli details and a screenshot.

Okay, I scheduled a stack of test recordings last night (web client), and none of the .TS files are playable (I'd say they were about 1/10 the size they should be). There doesn't seem to be any problems with the other channels I record, although none of them are on the same mux. FYI Quest records OK on another program I use for the other dvb stick I have (Winfast) on the same pc.
Moved my recordings from NAS share to iSCSI drive to see if it improved playback but I'm struggling to rebuild index.
Have exported, amended recording locations in recordings-backup.xml then re-imported, and also amended all xml in recording folders with new drive letter.
Also tried stopping service and amending recording-backup.xml in /users/public/npvr-data.
I still get recording not found error...
Having failed dismally, could I ask for some help please?
Also, the Windows machine is Celeron N4000/ Intel UHD 600 graphics. I seen mention of possible issues with hardware transcoding with this last year- should this now work?

Hi all,
as it seems my unraid box wasn't able to pass through devices (No IOMMU), I'm going to build another box to handle a few things along with NextPVR.
Because my windows install flagged up issues about not being able to transcode quick enough (for web viewing), I was going to use a GPU in the next machine to handle this.
Are there any minimum requirements? ideally I'd like it to be able to handle a couple of HD streams simultaneously.
If you can let me know what GPUs you run please, that would rock! (which work with ubuntu)
