This one is driving me nuts. In general hibernation works great for me. But ever since I moved from a Radeon 9700 (which was flawless) to an Nvidia 6200, video jerks badly when the machine resumes from hiberation. Even reloading the video driver using RivaTuner doesn't fix it - I have to reboot the machine and everything is fine again.
This is on XP Home (edit) SP2 with the latest Nvidia codecs, Nvidia 91.31 beta drivers and VMR9 custom (for the aspect ratio patch).
It's not isolated to GBPVR, ZoomBrowser is acting the same. Is anybody else seeing this? I'm trying to figure out if it's a driver problem or bugs in my mobo's BIOS maybe...

This is repeated hundreds of times in the log, that I attached.
Funny is though: the update works ok, my epg is fine:confused:
edit: Forgot the log (as always)

I have been searching many forums now and have decided that I want to use gbpvr as my media player and pvr. I have been thrilled reading how much detail and work has gone into this software. I considered going with a pre-packaged software combination like SageTV or BeyondTV but I have always been a fan of the community software (and of free software as well). I have a few questions about what I plan on doing and hopefully you guys can be of some help.
I plan on using my computer to record tv shows (sometimes multiple shows at once) and as a living room media player to play my DVD's in a convenient format. I have decided on a case and already have an old computer that will be used for internal (AMD 3200, 1 gig of ram, 430w PS, etc). I plan on purchasing the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-500MCE as my pvr tuner card.
My main concern comes from using Windows XP pro w/ SP2. I have an extra disc that I can use and would rather not purchase Windows XP MCE2005.
Am I going to run into problems using GBpvr with XP Pro w/ SP2?
Am I going to run into problems using the Hauppauge WinTV-PVR-500MCE with XP Pro w/ SP2?
I appreciate all your help and can't wait to get working on this project!!
I have tried everything that I know to fix it(drivers,mpeg2 encoders, etc)but I don't get a picture. Yesterday I would get snow with sound ,but now there is nothingbut a black screen.I thought that the 150 had mpeg2 built in?Any ideas?
- When I attempt to playback a movie I have downloaded, or a recording that gbpvr has made it only plays the file back using half of the screen. I know that others were having this problem and I have read those threads but I still have not resolved this. One of my biggest problems was that my installation of gbpvr didn't have Trans2MVP.bat in it by default. I found a copy somewhere but I'm not sure if it is the right one. Also I saw that some people resolved their problem with the batch file from this post: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=15156
However I am not exactly sure what I am supposed to do with this. Does this replace Trans2MVP.bat, or should I add these lines to it. Also I have tried vmr7 and overlay manager without any success. Furthermore my problem is not like others' in that my screen is not filled with garbage, just half of the screen is blank. Any help would be appreciated. Peace.
I would like to be able to browse guide data by channel. Discovery, TLC, History channel, and others have specials all the time. Therefore once a week I like to browse what will be on and then set my recordings accordingly.
Why do I need, or do I, MSAccess or SQL-Lite? I am not using those and MusicLibrary2 is not finding my MP3s when I add a path and then scan. It hangs up when I scan.
That's has happened after the installation of WMP 11...
I have removed that version to reinstall the version 10... same issue!
complete reinstallation of gb-pvr ... same issue
I have uninstalled all old versions of .Net framework
I do not have any additional plugin in that folder.
I got this error message when trying to install the GB-PVR program...
