  No EPG update in 0.97.9
Posted by: OscarL - 2006-06-06, 08:51 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - No Replies

Sorry to bother you with my problems but I can not be able to update EPG any longer.
I have tried both versions of data base to no avail.
The error in the config.exe log is unfortunately in swedish but a crude translation is:
2006-06-06 10:33:02.140 ERROR [5] XMLTV: error reading xml: The object is already added. Key in lock up table: . Key that has been added: .

xmltv file and config.exe.log file is added

Regards
Oscar

Sorry about this. I found an error in the xmltv file. Now it's working

Video slows immensely when bringing up OSD on SQLite
Posted by: mugenmidget - 2006-06-06, 05:22 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

Bringing up the OSD to show information slows down GB-PVR quite a bit until it has loaded the first time. However, upon switching channels and bringing up the OSD again, the slow down occurs again. Accessing the TV Guide seems fairly fast, so I'm not sure why it takes so long to get the OSD information. Any suggestions?

  Slow Motion Playback
Posted by: mcragoe - 2006-06-06, 05:12 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (30)

Has anyone had this problem before? When I play back a recorded video in GBPVR, it looks like the video is in slow motion. When I play the same video in Windows Media Player it plays fine. I have a GB of ram and a Geforce4 MX 440with AGP8X with the latest drivers. I am scratching my head on this one.

Thanks!

Mike

  EPG keyword auto add
Posted by: guerny - 2006-06-06, 02:45 AM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (1)

Hi all,

I have previously been using a neat app called webscheduler for all my scheduled recordings.

Its best feature for me is its ability to automatically update its EPG from an xmltv source, then scan this new data and automatically add future recordings for any programs found to match a keyword listing.

ie - i can specify to record anything with the words "World Cup" in either the program name or program description and any programs matching this criteria are automatically recorded for me.

Is there anything equivalent to this either in the base download or an additional plugin that does this in GBPVR?

cheers,
G

  MVP Screen Position
Posted by: ww4397 - 2006-06-06, 02:09 AM - Forum: MVP & NMT - Replies (1)

I just recently updated to 0.97.9 and have problems with the incorrect screen position on the TVs connected to my (two) MVPs. Parts of the top, bottom and right side are "off screen." In the previous version of GBPVR I used the "MVP Screen Position" plugin to identify the height, width and offset values needed for correct picture display and then the plugin made the necessary configuration changes. This plugin is not working with the 0.97.9.

So, my question is, how/where do I make the necessary configuration changes to correct the picture display problems in 0.97.9?

Thanks.

PS: If the author of the plugin reads this message, please consider updating your plugin. It was a great help to me when setting up my MVPs.
