Slow Motion Playback

Has anyone had this problem before? When I play back a recorded video in GBPVR, it looks like the video is in slow motion. When I play the same video in Windows Media Player it plays fine. I have a GB of ram and a Geforce4 MX 440with AGP8X with the latest drivers. I am scratching my head on this one.

Its almost certainly caused by the directshow decoders that are being used. Reproduce the problem, then zip and attach your gbpvr.exe-native.log and we'll take a look what exactly is being used.

Can you try using some decoders other than the nero ones to see if it helps? A few people have had problems with these decoders in the past.

I downloaded the latest decoders from Hauppauge and uninstalled and reinstalled the decoders, reboot and tried again with no luck. Here is the new log file.

What is your CPU load during playback?
What operating system are you using?

WMP uses the default decoders, no hardware acceleration, and default renderers (VMR7 on WinXP). So you should get the same result by configuring GBPVR to match (set Playback and DVD decoders and renderers to default) and ensure the video decoder has hardware acceleration disabled when used in GBPVR.
