I keep getting an unhandled exception whenever I hit the remote 'i' button on live tv/video.
Have done a full delete/reinstall, but that didn't help.

about 4 days ago the EPG in Kodi started showing "No Details" for one of the free to air providers.
So one provider with multiple channels..
I checked NextPvr which also had this issue.
I emptied the EPG in NextPvr and then did an update.
Didn't work.
I dropped all my tuner devices ( I have a Quad Tuner) and reloaded them and updated the EPG again, but channel TEN shows no EPG information.
I had a quick look at the logs and I can see channels like "Ten HD" being checked for EPG and not throwing an error.

A couple of observations based on a few hours of use...
I really like the new web interface in terms of both appearance and usability. I didn’t interact with the old GUI other than quickly TSing in to set a recording, (I generally watch recordings using Kodi on a firestick) but this is much slicker.
I have found it's a bit awkward to scroll backwards and forwards in the TV guide - OK on a laptop, but not really possible on a touchscreen because the scroll bar is so small (I don’t have a suggestion as to how to fix that - the old method of having to click to go left or right was also not ideal - I feel like a two finger drag would be good but goodness only knows how you code that into a webpage)
I left this parish some years ago when Plex introduced their PVR - I had a lifetime Plexpass from years ago and initially it was great. Without going into detail - it is not great anymore. One thing that was handy was the ability to download your recordings while away from home - Plex was pretty good at transcoding them and downloading them (It then generally lost them causing many a frustrated flight until I found that I could usually find them in the filesystem somehow). A transcode then download button would be great. No complex client - just download the file at a reduced size.
My server has a decent CPU, but as it is running headless I much prefer to have NPVR running as a service as opposed to an application, so getting hardware acceleration is a bit of a non starter. Would there be some way of getting the service to spawn an application thus be able to make use of hardware accelerated transcoding?
My use case for this is that while travelling (yeah - whenever that is possible!), your internet connection is often not upto live TV playback or downloading GBs of raw TS streams, but you can just leave the laptop downloading for a while to get the show. The only sport I really watch is F1, but I know that if I dont watch a Grand Prix within a few hours of it finishing I will find out who won on social media and have little interest in watching...
I'm sure you have a thick skin after years of this, but please don't see anything here as a criticism, just a feature request
Hi there! I've switched over to NPVR in January and have been having issues with missed TV recordings. The system just doesn't wake up to record my shows. When I do powercfg /waketimers, all my upcoming recordings are listed. Still the system doesn't wake up. I thought maybe there's something else going on since it wasn't a fresh install that I've been working with. So I backed up my config.xml and npvr.db3 files and wiped the computer. I installed npvr 5 (previously I was running v4 but that's gone now) and all my settings look good. I did a test record and put the computer to sleep. I waited till it was time for the show to record and nothing. System stayed asleep and the recording failed. No errors in the event log, no errors in the recording log. I tried running a scheduled task to see if the wake up timers work for anything else and they worked fine.
Hibernation is off, wake timers are set to on in power settings. In the bios, it's currently set to S3, but I've also tried S1. For wake timers I tried everything enabled under the bios controlled, but I also tried OS controlled.
I'm fully out of ideas if anyone has any suggestions.
I was wondering if there is any way to create an archive of recordings. I've seen some discussion that sounds relevant in these forums, but it looks like it might be a feature of the Windows version, but not available in the Docker version. Occasionally I record something that I might want to keep for the long term. Obviously, I can just keep these mixed in with the rest of my recorded shows, but once I decide that something is a "keeper", I'd like to be able to move it into a separate area / folder (preferably still organized by program / series), rather than keeping it mixed in with the routine "watch once and delete" stuff. And of course, I'd also like to be able to manage the archive with the NextPVR web interface and / or Kodi (which I run on a separate PC for viewing my NextPVR recordings).

Aside from going in to the npvr folder and deleting the existing channel logo, is there any way of getting npvr to overwrite/replace a logo when it changes at the xmltv end?
I'm going through xteve at the moment and manually mapping channels to use SD data rather than that provided by the IPTV service (as they only provide the schedule for that day), and as such, it is updating the channel logos.
But when I update the EPG in NextPVR from the xteve URL, it isn't updating the channel logos, even after restarting the service/rebooting.
If there isn't any way to currently do so (without deleting the existing logo), would it be possible to have this as a tickbox somewhere in settings to update logos on EPG update? or even if there is a button a bit like the SD logo download, to run a 1 time update, which will pull in the channel logos from the XMLTV sources and save them, overwriting anything that is currently there.
