  Avance ThemePack for BaseSkin
Posted by: MixMan - 2006-05-12, 11:54 PM - Forum: Community Announcements - No Replies

You can now download this ThemePack from the Wiki.
http://gbpvr.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Skin/...ThemePacks

The EXE will extract itself to the Advisor.Avance directory, so it will show up in ThemesManager directly after installation.
Remember to have GBPVR "turned off" when installing, otherwise the icons will not be copied to the sub directories.

  Dual Tuners
Posted by: Dan.M - 2006-05-12, 09:56 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (17)

Sapphire Theatrix 550 Pro and ATI TV Wonder Elite Tuner.

on a windows xp system.
the sapphire theatrix is supposedly set to Capture Source #1
and the ATI TV Winder Elite Tuner is set to capture source #2

so i updated EPG thing.

restarted GB-PVR and opened up GB-PVR to make sure TV was working. got in. went to live tv. i get the snow effect.

remove the second capture source and the tv worked perfectly fine.

did i somehow set something up wrong ?

both have their own seperate co-axial cable plugged both sides. so i dont see how with 1 capture source set up. it works fine
with 2 it doesnt work.

and for some reason it always wants to use the new capture source for live TV. is there a way to see if the first capture source is working when there are 2 capture source set up?

NOVA-t USB2 gives up recording show
Posted by: gEd - 2006-05-12, 07:53 PM - Forum: Hardware - No Replies

Hi all

I am having a problem with my Nova-T usb2 whereby it occasionally gives up recording a show. This happened last night and the log shows that gbpvr started and stopped the recording at the correct times but the recording itself has just stopped part way through. (at 964MB)

I am using the 24068 drivers.

Anyone else seen this before, got any ideas or tips?

cheers

  Web server Error Please help
Posted by: jamie9000 - 2006-05-12, 07:42 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (5)

Hi,

I can get the sever to work when entering http://localhost:7647/gbpvr/login.aspx

However I can get it when using the IP address of the router.

I have a netgear DG834GT and I have added a service to open port 7647 then I have set up firewall rule which sends to lan server i.e my ip address 192.168.0.2

http://172.213.164.199:7647/gbpvr/login.aspx

I have checked and the above is the correct IP address for the router

All i get is an error can not display the web page. I have tried different ports with no success Please if you have any ideas I would really appreciate them as this is really annoying.

I have set up other rules for ports in the same way on this router and been able to have game servers run from my pc and have others join and play over the net.

I am totally new to the GBPVR, and I am trying to create a new PVR box. When installing the software, I keep getting an error during the config.exe added below. I am running windows 2000, PVR350, and having a terrible time trying to get this working. Can you give me a hand?

Posted by: joecru - 2006-05-12, 03:53 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (12)

Hi,

I have changed my O/S to win 2003 for my GBPVR Server. I am having a few problems.

1. The MVP keeps disconnecting when trying to play recordings and when trying to play web radio on MVP. Its disconnects right away
It plays MP3 music ok.

2. The only renedering seting that works is Overlay manager VMR9 says not supported and I installed Directx.

The MVP menu starts up ok.

On the PC when you play a video file its upside down.

Config:- Hauppauge 350 , Win 2003, 4 x MVP . Video decoder Cyberlink video/SP Decorder and also for audio.Ran BDA Mux checker but non installed.

Can anyone help please.Rolleyes

  XES skin questions
Posted by: bdgbill - 2006-05-12, 03:18 PM - Forum: Community Announcements - Replies (3)

I just installed the XES skin and love it. I have read the wiki and the readme files that came with the skin but have a couple of questions.

On the recording page I have a green box at the lower left that I think is supposed to show and image associated with that show. How do I download these images or where do i put them if I download them myself.

I was also wondering how to get this "statistics" page that Tipster shows on his website:

Jerky Playback & High CPU Usage
Posted by: Ruteger - 2006-05-12, 02:26 PM - Forum: GB-PVR Support (legacy) - Replies (6)

I'm fairly new to GBPVR after moving from BeyondTV and have tun into a annoying issue.

Every few days when I go to watch live tv the screen goes black for ~20sec then the video starts but is very jerky and unwatchable. The same thing happens if I try and watch a recorded show. I notice that the CPU usage is 90-100% when this happens.

If I restart GBPVR then the prblem goes away.

My system specs are :
- Athlon XP 1600
- Hauppauge 250PVR
- Geforce 5200
- 1GB DDR RAM

Can anyone give me a hand with this? As far as i can tell I have all the newest drivers.

Thanks!

  XRecord instructions?
Posted by: bdgbill - 2006-05-12, 02:16 PM - Forum: Old Stuff (Legacy) - Replies (3)

Is there a guide somewhere to XRecord? I have just installed it and can't seem to get it to download the pictures or "posters" that go with the shows. Also the TV guide is unreadable with a light gray font on a white backround.

I have been through the WIKI but can't find much at all.

I assume this is a great plugin since so many people are using it.
