It is so choppy that is not watchable. Do anyone have any experience on it? Does anyone have any suggestion how to fix it? Thanks in advance.
This folder contains the skin.xml file and typically any other optional image files that you may want displayed. Optional image files can be located in another directory and called in the skin.xml file using proper skinning path methods.
Example: <DrawImage filename="..\Images\EyeChart.png" loc="10,10" size="220,220"/>
\Appearance\Backgrounds
This folder is where background sub-folder options are located. If you want only a few background options, you must still place them in a sub-folder.
Example:
\Appearance\Backgrounds\Skin-X\
background-1.jpg
background-2.jpg
background-3.jpg
File names can be anything .jpg
Providing additional folders results in those sub-folder names being displayed in the top button in the appearance manager plugin. The user then can cycle through those directories using left or right arrow keys or buttons.
\Appearance\ButtonSets
This folder is where menu buttons sub-folder options are located. If you want only one button option, you must still place them in a sub-folder.
Example:
\Appearance\ButtonSets\None\
MainButtonSelected.png (Required)
MainButtonNormal.png (Required)
Additional buttons that the skin uses can be included here using the same names as called by the skin.
Adding additional sub-folders with different buttons will result in those buttons being displayed by appearance manager when the user presses left or right arrow keys or buttons.
\Appearance\Languages
This is where sub-folders with language.xml files are located.
This is optional and not required. Language files can be downloaded from the SkinPacks wiki page.
\Appearance\SkinEffects
Skin effects are static images that are displayed over the top of the background images.
Repeat the same method with directories here as well.
Example:
\Appearance\SkinEffects\Black Jack\
\Appearance\SkinEffects\None\
Additionally, list plugin sub directories under these folders for specific skin effects created. More info will be included in the SkinEffects section later.

Without the following files, Appearance Manager will report errors when attempting to run.
Located in the skin "root" directory, Appearance Manager looks for the following files:
Noticed that all my TV channel listings were blank, so I tried to update via Zap2it. Above is error message I get trying to update channels. I was going back up the gbpvr.mdb file and re-install when I noticed its 1.99 gig big. This seems unusual to me. Any thoughts?
When a TV-show already started and i want to record it; only "record now" works. When i try to record the show each week; GBPVR doesn't start recording. Is this a bug; or am i doing something wrong?
I had rectracker working well for a while, but now, it doesn't want to work - I get the following message in my rectracker.log file. I even tried unzipping the files to the GBPVR folder again and overwriting the old ones, but to no avail. If someone could help, I'd be most appreciative!

I just installed gbpwr yesterday and it works fine, except the digital TV.
I have ATI All-in-wonder TV card in my PC and it works with Media Center 2006. I read about adding support for any TV-card is possible with just editing the bda.ini file. I didn't found information to put into bda.ini with Microsoft Graph edit. It just shows analog capture card but I would like to use the digital DVB-T.
Have I done something really wrong and what I should do?
I've been looking at many DVB software for windows and linux.
I really like gbpvr, the only things that suck, it's that I can't use my Hauppage Nexus-S... why? There's lot of soft that handle the card, why not GB-PVR ?
I've also tried to setup things with MythTV, but it's all fucked up to make the SASC work
I only have my Bell box, I want to be able to recorde show and have a nice Multimedia Center
I just hooked up my MVP yesterday, and it seems to be working ok. I did not install the included MVP software. I just connected all the cables and turned on the MVP. It located the GB-PVR server pretty quickly, and seems to be working ok. I did not install the MVP software as I had read on the forums that it is not necessary. However, as I have been browsing the forums today, I read that one does need to install the MVP software as some of the MVP components are reused by GB-PVR in order for it to function properly on the MVP. So I'm not confused as to whether I should also install the MVP software. I know that If I do go ahead and install the MVP software that the 2 services need to be stopped and then set to manual for GB-PVR to work.
