Hi

I installed the gbpvr on a server. Everything is working perfectly fine. Now I installed a 2nd copy of gbpvr on the laptop as a client. Everything is fine except livetv which is very choppy. It is so choppy that is not watchable. Do anyone have any experience on it? Does anyone have any suggestion how to fix it? Thanks in advance.

Reproduce the problem, the zip and attach your gbpvr.exe-native.log and I'll take a look.

Assuming your laptop is fast enough, then it probably relates to the video decoders and directshow filters installed on that machine.

If you set it to use the Overlay renderer, does it help?

The only other idea I've got, is that its related to the version of quartz.dll as discussed here: http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php?t=5600

Just re-reading your post, you're not trying to watch live tv across the network are you? If so, then I'd expect this sort of problem. GB-PVR is not designed to be used this way.

try:
open a command window, change to the gbpvr folder and run
regsvr32 /u GBPVRParser.ax

you lose the ability to ff/rw but see how you go
